Goons 'n' Roses (Book Two in The Chanel Series)

Chanel's life continues to spiral out of control. Somehow, she muddles through and comes out on top with the help of an unlikely bunch of allies.Looking back after I've finished the book, the whole tale is utterly ridiculous and unrealistic. However while reading, I'm having so much fun that I suspend my disbelief and the scrapes she gets into, and back out of, largely unscathed, seem to follow on quite naturally. I'm totally sucked in to her world.I've only resisted awarding five stars because of the orangutan. For me, that was simply a wacky element too far.Off to get the next in the series....

Having read and enjoyed the first book of the series, I downloaded the second one. I enjoyed this one too.Sometimes, I just want a straightforward plot and some likeable characters to read about as it helps me switch off my brain and relax.This series is it. a thumbs up

This was a great second book in the series featuring some of the same characters as the first book and some interesting new ones.This adventure takes place in Las Vegas and its a rollercoaster ride.Just as funny as the first book and with a twist as well.I thought it was great fun,bring on the next book please.

Really liked the first book, so spent the money and bought the second. Too much money for a book you can read in a day! There is a continuation error between chapter 3 and 4, which had me thinking the book was incomplete. Turns out it wasn't, and the gaps were filled in rather laboriously during chapter 4... I found that approach a bit annoying and far fetched. And it has no ending, which really annoyed me and left me feeling cheated. Not worth the money... a letdown after such a good first book.

Ending left me hanging. Or wishing for book no 3. Hurry up please Donna:) try reading it for yourself. It's a good laugh

This has to be THE most silly and fun surrealist books I have ever read!The sparkle of Las Vegas, clowns, the Mafia (from two countries, no less!), drag queens, an orangutan with a gun, and a very sexy biker.Enjoyable, entertaining and utterly unique!

This the second book in the series which I had to pay for as the first was free to download so in my book that says it all I never I repeat never pay unless I could not put the book down so buy buy buy -witty funny exciting need I go on
