The Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi/450D Companion

I love this book! Bought it on a whim really as I've had my 450d for a few years now and although it does what I need it to, I know it can do so much more but I need to understand HOW to use it to the max. I'm not one for reading manuals cover to cover but this book (so far) just explains everything specific to this camera without a load of techy jargon. It just says it in a kind of 'do this and now try that' and 'this is what happens when...and why'. Perfect.Delivery took around 4 days so not the fastest but within the time specified so alls good.If you've got a Canon EOS 450D but always just go for the auto mode coz you don't know what the other stuff's for...then buy this!!

I actually bought this book around 2 months before I bought the camera and read it cover to cover. It has taught me a lot about the basics of how to use the camera and lives with my camera kit now. An excellent book to complement the camera, whether for the experenced or someone new to DSLRs. Far better than the manual, it not only explains what all the buttons and menus do, but explains how to get the best out of them. Only draw back is the lack of comprensive information and advice on lens, something I am now finding would be useful. But for starters and espically hand-held shooting this is brill!

I have a Canon EOS 450D, this publication helped me better understand the capabilities of my camera and to make better use of its various functionalities. Worth having if you have this camera.
