What a fabulous little gizmo I virtually never write reviews, but this is such a nifty little fuzz remover, fits nicely in the hand and works a treat, I felt inspired to take a before and after photograph. Not only my jumpers but also my socks are looking so much better! I use it without the plastic guard, as it works better, and have not snagged any threads as a result, the only downside is the little collecting chamber is quite small and needs emptying frequently, but it does fit so nicely in my palm that I would rather not have a bigger one anyway. The fuzz just slides out. I have defuzzed quite a number of jumpers and socks, and I’m still on the first set of batteries, although the blades are rotating a little slower Highly recommended

Previously I've owned one other different brand of clothes/fabric shaver, which literally ate fabrics or snagged. This shaver works fantastically well with no problems encountered, on a variety of fabrics/clothes, including woolen jerseys, fleeces and thermal vests. Just remember not to push down, and use the shaver sensibly. Let the shaver rest briefly on the fabric, and keep moving, following instructions included with the product. I've been using this shaver regularly for several weeks now, and I like it so much for making my clothes look smarter that I'm planning to give this shaver as small gifts to my grown-up children this Christmas. This shaver is good value for money, and great value when on offer at £8.99, which mine was.

Did a good job at removing some bobbles i had on a pair of trousers. Blades were sharp and it took minimal effort and removed them with ease. This fabric shaver is really useful and easy to use. It removes bobbles and fabric pills well, helping clothes look fresher and giving them a new life instead of replacing them. The large blade surface makes the job quick, and it is handy that it comes with batteries. Very happy with it!

My favourite jumper was getting really tatty, and I was on the verge of retiring it for good. Until I got this fabric shaver. It's great quality, fits nicely in the hand, very lightweight, and does an amazing job. My jumper looks newer than the day I bought it! The only downside I have so far is the constant emptying of the unit due to the compact size, which is easy enough as the lint compartment just slides right off and back on. But, when it does such a good job, it's hard to complain so much. Can't recommend this product enough. Since my jumper transformation, my mother and brother have both purchased one too!

The story of the three bobble shavers that I have bought in less than a year. The first bobble shaver was weak and took a lot of charging but blades were sharp enough to cut through my mattress protector before it packed up completely; the second lasted a couple of cardigans but again with plenty of recharging then never worked again, this third one seems to work well from day one and takes very little effort to completely shave the bobbles off. It has a good weight to it and feels like it is well-made. It's easy to clean, comes with its own brush and works well with rechargeable batteries and at around the same price of each of the other two money wasters. I hope it will last as it does an excellent job.

Does what it says on the box. On a louder side and work area is small so it takes while to complete one piece of clothing.

When my brother ordered this product, I really thought he was wasting money on something that wouldn't be of much use, but how wrong I was. This lint remover gave a new life to my old woolens. I had previously tried removing lint from my woolens using combs and razor (got these ideas from insta) but all failed and these clothes had been locked in an old box, but this product changed it all. It is easy to use, removes all the lints and gives a new life to your woolen. A must buy.

I had an old fabric shaver that I previously used to de-pill fabric. It quit working a few years ago and I have been looking for a replacement. I saw a Consumer Reports review comparing several fabric shavers. The Philips Fabric Shaver was one of them. It wasn't CR's #1 choice, but they rated it almost as high and it cost less than 1/4 of the price. I purchased this model and was very happy with my decision. The fabric shaver does a very good job by removing pills easily. The shaving surface is large enough to complete the de-pilling task quickly. It holds a lot of removed material, and it is easy to clean. It takes 2 AA batteries. It is nicely designed but I needed to read the instructions to be aware of how to reach the different parts of the equipment. I'm very happy with this small but useful machine.

I have a coat I particularly like but they don't make any more. It was full of bobbles. A few minutes of the shaver here and it's as good as new. Brilliant stuff.
