It is 1sq meter, 100sq meters would be bigger than your house.

Do these bean bags have a zip to replace or re-fill if need be?

Mine did not come with a separate inner bag. The closure does have two zips though.

It is a cotton material which has been waterproofed. Quite soft to touch much like a waterproof coat.
