1080P Mini Spy Cam Hidden Camera LXMIMI Portable Small HD Nanny Camera with Night Vision and Motion Detection for Home/Office Indoor Security Surveillance Camera

I've been trying this spy camera for a while now and I've found it easy to use and operate, but the image quality is not really full 1080p HD. It does record AVI movie files in 1920 x 1080 format, but the actual resolution you will get looks less then this. Not surprising really, considering how small the lens is and the sensor inside cannot be that big either. I've uploaded two stills from 1080p HD video, one from this spy camera and one from my Sony WX350 compact camera videoing in 1080p mode; you can see the comparative quality from these.Also, I was rather confused by my spy camera camera coming in a retail-like box that said "Mini Sports" on the front! This is not a sports camera; despite the 30fps speed it does not process images in time for this clarity. Even relatively slow movement of the camera produces blurs and judders. It does capture the movement of things like cars going past when you keep the camera still, but again don't expect the 30fps you would get from a compact camera in video mode or Camcorder. The listing doesn't mention Sports at all (at the time I'm writing this), and it meets the description in the listing. If it didn't record in HD, and recorded at a more appropriate frame rate the data files could be smaller.Starting video just takes a 3 second press of the On button, and then one click to start recording video. So, pretty easy to get going if you are in a situation where you suddenly decide to record what's going on.The motion detection works well, with only about 1 second delay between moving my hand in front of the camera and it starting to record.Mine measures 41 x 30 x 21 mm over the lens, with the main body being 15 mm thick.It came with various mounting accessories, a clip-on unit, strap-on clip (no strap) and handle-bar mount (but this would not work well on a bicycle, due to the image judder/blur problems).Overall, a fairly good spy camera, but don't expect the kind of video image or smoothness you get from most HD, high-frame-rate devices; it still has a tiny lens.

This is a great camera. It has lots of different bits you can connect on to it to make it stand or sit exactly how and where you want it (such as on your clothes with the clip or on a bike where it can act as a dash cam equivalent!) It is easy to choose which function you want as the light will change accordingly. You will need to get a micro SD card up to 32GB to use the camera.It is easily concealed so as not to be noticeable (at night there is no light so it isn't obvious). It can also be used whilst plugged in so this is ideal if you need it to record for longer than the 150 minutes the battery lasts (rechargeable via usb). You can use a power bank to recharge it too.The camera and accessories are strong and well made. The SD card clicks into place just like in a phone (push it to eject it).As well as video, you can also take still photos with it and set it to record when it senses motion.Both video and photos are of excellent quality (see the photo I've attached)You can connect the camera directly to a TV as I have done (see photo) so you can see the footage on the TV screen. The cable is included - it's the yellow phono socket in your tv that you need.This camera is very versatile and can be used in many situations. I'm thinking of taking it with me to a theme park next time I go, I think the footage will be hilarious!

Not bad. Software could be more comprehensive and friendlier. Cumbersome to use
