After upping my walking again I was back to feeling like my ankles had fused in the morning - could barely walk down stairs and the pain was horrible until it loosened off. It's bothered me for years in varying degrees - the joys of hypermobility, but it was that bad this time I started looking for anything that would give some relief. And found this. Honestly wasn't getting my hopes up but was desperate to try anything and bought two and oh boy I'm so glad I did. As soon as it was on the immediate comfort was like a hug for your foot. Straps are easily adjustable and also padded. It's lightweight - was surprised at how light it was given that it feels really sturdy too. Was half expecting some clunky thing but very happy that it's not. First night I slept with both on but it was a really warm night and ended up taking them off, however I still noticed my ankles weren't as stiff when I got up. Promising! Been wearing them for almost a week now and the difference has been huge. Almost in happy tears at how pain free huge! I've managed this pain for years and just assumed it was something I'd be living with forever and just wished I'd researched sooner because I now have almost zero pain in the morning and can walk normally (or as normal as it gets for me). It's not gone completely - the achilles tendon is still very tender after maybe 20 minutes of walking, but I'm not in excrutiating pain anymore and that's just after a week. Without a doubt it's the best purchase I've made this year. Oh and bonus points to the seller for the speedy shipping too - arrived on the Saturday and wasn't due until the Monday.

It's not perfect, but it is a good brace. 8/10. I have pain in my calf muscles, plantar fasciitis and worst of all achilleas tendonitis all cause by my collapsed arches. My podiatrist recommended exercises, stretches, orthotic insoles (i already had) and a night time foot brace. This foot brace arrived really quickly, and it was light and relatively easy to put on. What people need to understand is that if you do this brace up super tight, then you will eventually have pressure pain, it is better to leave it slightly looser than you would like, because it works over a few hours. This brace prevents my foot dropping over night and 90% solves the pain I have every morning when I get out of bed, it was effective after 1 night! What a game changer.

Developed Achiilles tendon problem as reaction to certain antibiotics. Prognosis was 6 - 12 months to clear. I was fully mobile in 5 months with these.. They look like instruments of torture, but are actually very comfortable and lightweight. I slept with them on without problem.

Bought this for my plantar fasciitis, I just don’t seem to be able to get on with it, I end up taking it off through the night, but it’s still well made, I will give it a go again

Last night was the first time I wore these nights splints (on both feet) due to PF after more than 3 years of suffering. Tossed and turned a little in bed through the night purely because I’m just not used to wearing them, rather than being in any discomfort, because they were certainly not uncomfortable by any means- it was just different. All of that didn’t matter this morning, when I put my feet on the floor with no pain at all and was able to walk freely, without that dreaded dull ache and even with a spring in my step first thing, which I haven’t been able to do for so long! I cannot believe the improvement after 1 night! so so happy..... can’t wait to see how I feel after 1-2 weeks!!

Doesn't work used it for weeks nothing and even more painful to wear

This product has really helps my plantar fasciitis and I got used to it really quickly as it’s not as bulky as you would expect

I was really hoping this would help my horrendous foot pain. It was really ill fitting, and even after trying tips like using a cloth in the base, I could not make it fit my foot. This meant it was not fit for purpose. Also, after the first time of clipping it on, the top clip would not open, luckily this wasn't a big problem as I could slide out of it and still test it. I returned it with no problems, which is why I love Amazon, it is so helpful to not be stuck with expensive products that don't work.
