These are SO COOL!!! My daughter and I had fun putting this together at Christmas time. Now usually I prefer Lego brand stuff as the quality is top notch. However for my Pokémon obsessed daughter I decided to go MEGA this year for Christmas as well as birthday. Best Decision Ever!!! OMG these are stupid crazy fun to play with. I love the moving parts and how you can attach others in the same series together to make one huge moving playground full of Pokémon goodness. Not only that but the quality is fantastic with MEGA as well. They are just slightly different yet can still be used together with the Lego sets or other compatible brands. Now I can’t wait for her birthday so we can play with the rest of the ones I got her. I’m excited!!!

Perfect gift for my nephew he said it was fun and wasn’t missing any parts. Good quality and easy to put together/ hes 6 and loved it. Good size for him and looked good when finished. Great price too!

I bought this for my son’s 7th birthday after seeing it at a friend’s house. My son is a whiz at putting together Lego-brand sets, but he became frustrated with this set right off the bat because he was having so much trouble putting the legs on Pikachu. He came to me for help, and I had trouble, too. I basically ended up building the whole set for him because it was so difficult for him to snap the pieces together. I also had trouble snapping many of the pieces together, and I had to apply so much force on many of the pieces that the pads of my thumbs are still sore a few hours later.

I got this for one of my bonus kids who loves Pokémon. He also loves building things. He’s 8yo, and immediately went on to assemble it with his siblings. It’s definitely a good idea for keeping the littles occupied with something interactive and requires the kids to use their brains a bit to assemble it. All 3 kids, ages 4, 8, and 12 sat together for a couple hours putting it together while taking breaks to show me their accomplishments stage by stage during the assembly.
