Not sure
I was very happy to receive this pan, it has a perfect smooth lip, perfect weight and looks good. I actually wanted to order another one. So in the last few days, I have tried it out with my regular cooking needs.Rice, stir fry and pasta - all good;Full egg with yolk - not possible;Schnitzels - terrible! After frying 6 schnitzels, whatever I tried I was not able to clean a particular part of the pan where the handle locates. I soaked it with washing up liquid, I sprayed kitchen grease remover, I used baking powder and vinegar, none of them worked! On the second day I repeated baking powder and vinegar twice, used a fibre scrubbing pads for solely 25 minutes, the oil stain was finally gone. Now I notice some patches at the bottom of the pan! They are on the opposite of the oil stain so it is not possible to be caused by my vigorous cleaning - all other areas look Okay, including where the oil stain was.Shall I contact the manufacturer?

Edited review ... Beka Tri-Lux high sided 20cm pan
Nice to have such a classy looking and quality high-sided pan that should last years ... The measuring levels on the inner side opposite the handle, are, (IMO) a 'nice touch' ... Use it on gas hob mainly to fry, (low/medium heat) and then to simmer varied dishes that have a sauce. Holds enough, (say Bolognese sauce) for 3/4 people ... After cooking, I wash it in the sink by hand, (don't have a plumbed-in dishwasher). It cleans easily and so far, still looks 'new').Edit: 15/2/19 ... Now used on an induction hob. Still looks great, but the inner measuring quantity levels have worn off, (non a big deal) after cleaning it with what turned out to be an stainless steel cleaner.

How to make your pan non stick
Like all sandwich steel pans they need to be treated with care to maintain the non stick surfaceTo season to make it non stick1. Heat it on a medium heat with oil, swish it around2. Allow to cool3. Wipe with a kitchen towelThis will have seasoned your panAfter cooking1. Allow to cool2. Soak in plain warm water,3. Wash in plain hot water, never use washing up liquid on the inside of the pan4. Wipe with kitchen towelIf it loses its non stick surface go through the first process again.

Beautiful pan
This really is a beauty of a saucepan and has quickly become my favourite. Really versatile and a perfect size and shape for making sauces. The handle is slim but feels firm in the hand. It heats evenly and looks great. I have had no problems with it and would recommend it as a saucier and general purpose pan.

Solid!
I considered adding a slightly larger all clad saucier and settled on trying this out, as it was significantly cheaper! It works, has good weight, is well constructed and will be a general work horse.Another review mentions making it non stick... I have yet to try this internet trick out!
