These are very well made and must have been designed with at least the help of a man when you consider the strategic placement of very good padding.

The sizes do run small for the American physique. Pay attention to the measurement table and measure yourself. I did and the fit is good. This is the first EXTRA large piece of clothing I have ever purchased. The padding is adequate in the bum. I could do with a little less width to the padding in the crotch. It seem to chafe a little on the inner thigh but not terribly so. Altogether it's better than nothing. I may order another pair from a different manufacturer to see if there is anything that fits ME better. Every rider is a little different and it might even matter how your bike seat is shaped. The issues I have do not make it worth returning. I rode 54 miles the other day in relative comfort.

They did not help , they didn't ailing with the bones too small for a big man of 6.1 might work well for smaller people not

Being an unexperienced long haul biker, I'm sure I should have appreciated these padded shorts more than I did, but my problem was, they felt like wearing a huge diaper, and the worst part was the way they restricted my legs. In the end they probably helped me, but they were very uncomfortable doing it!

These are so awesome! Fits under regular shorts, ventilated, comfortable and the padding is thick and well placed to keep those saddle sores to a minimum. I think I like the length of them most. Most cycle shorts are long and not vented so they're hot and hard to keep at the right place on my legs. These stay out of the way, aren't hot and provide great padding. Love 'em.

Very good shorts that certainly help your derriere feel more comfortable during bicycle rides. Wash in machine, but air dry. They are certainly slightly tighter, so go up one size. Generally it seems like good shorts.

I was unsure about these, but when they arrived, I was impressed with the feel of the fabric, the thickness is the padded crotch, the length of the inseam, and they're not too tight on the legs. I wore it today and was extremely glad I did. These made a world of difference for my one hour ride! I had to stand up maybe 4 - 5 times, but 95% improvement to my riding experience.
