I bought this book for myself. Being a marine life artist, I'm not embarrassed to admit that sometimes I do have trouble drawing marine animals. Drawing them in onto my canvas and getting them anatomically correct can be tricky. I saw this book on amazon and I must say IS worth every penny! Glad to give it a shot! Because of this book, I can now draw sea animals much better than I could before. I must thank the author for creating such a wonderful book. He makes it so EASY! I had no idea that drawing my subjects could become so easy...and FUN! The wonderful thing is this book contains 50 sea animals to learn to draw, which is GREAT! This is my first and only Learn to Draw 50 books, and I must say how much I recommend these for children and adults. There is no age limit. You're never to old to learn how to draw something...and an easy, easy way! This book is the way to go! I am so happy with this book! Now I will have no problems drawing anymore. This book is a lifesaver for me, and now I can draw so many kinds of sharks, whales, dolphins, rays, ocean fish, even squids and octopus! There is no other better book than this one anywhere! No other book will teach 50 animals, in a more easy way than this! Grab yourself a copy before they sell out!

A fine book in helping you to learn to draw sea going animals, specifically sharks, whales and other animals who live in the sea. As a fellow artist, it is basic and easy to follow. I like having these in my library so that the children and try their own skills at learning to draw.

I bought both this one and the other sea creature drawing book in the series "Draw 50 Sea Creatures: The Step-by-Step Way to Draw Fish, Sharks, Mollusks, Dolphins, and More". I was a bit worried about whether or not in doing so I would be basically purchasing the same book twice with different covers, but my fears were unfounded- the two books cover different animals. The only overlap between the two is that both books show how to draw these five creatures: the humpback whale, narwhal, sailfish, seahorse, and walrus. However, each book has a different version showing the animal at a different angle or in a different pose or with different proportions. If you purchase both books, you will get 100 unique drawing tutorials for 95 different animals.

This book is okay, but it is just very simplistic. The only words in the entire book are the titles showing what the animals are.

I bought this as a gift for my 10 yr old son. He loves to draw and has frequently borrowed Lee Ames drawing books from the library. He was very excited to get his own copy!!! The step-by-steps are very easy to follow and it would be a great book for kinders to adults!

Got this book for my 9 year old and he loves it. He was able to quickly draw sharks really well. I highly recommend this book to anyone who want to learn to draw. The book offers many easy examples to follow.

Both my kids love to draw. I bought this because my son is obsessed with sharks. This is a great "how to" book. Very impressed! I'd say for ages 8+

Product arrived on time and was as described. A little advanced for my 11 year old granddaughter however she loves it and likes the challenge

ページ数は値段相応かもしれないが、1ページに1生物をワンアングルだけを6-9カット使ってメイキングというのがちょっと無駄を感じる。せめて2アングルあれば生物の立体を把握しやすかったのではないか。応用がきかないし読んで楽しい部分もない。海洋生物を描く参考書の決定版になるものは他にないものか。

Bought for a birthday present to help teach my nephew how to draw. He's really enjoying trying out different animals. Simple instructions to copy and follow.
