You will need a presser tool to attach these (I have added a photo of the one I used) and a hole maker/awl to get the poppers through the fabric. But that is just how you need to use these and many other poppers like them.Also the people complaining you have to pair up the popper pieces and it's very hard are wrong. There's the flat disk parts that have a stick coming out and two other different pieces. It's clear you need a pair of each to make the poppers work. For the price of them, it makes sense you have to pair them up yourself.I'll use them again.Ignore the comments about the stick parts of the popper being too long, that's what is pressed down to hold the pieces together! The people saying this have clearly not bought the tool to press them with and they won't work without that.

Very flimsy and did not work for me at all. I’ve had to purchase elsewhere and am hoping for better quality as these are unusable.

These are a good size and we’re great to replace some lost buttons on my reusable nappies. They pushed on relatively easily and have lasted well so far considering our nappies are wash every two days so they are frequently being used.They aren’t particularly pretty but they are functional and cheap.

I bought these to replace some missing studs on a duvet cover. Luckily I have a tool for making the hole and installing but a lot of people won’t realise they need one. It’s many years since I have fitted studs but I’m not sure if the spikes on either side will clash. I may be happily surprised, I guess it depends on the thickness of the fabric.

Ignore the negative reviews, these work fab with the correct tool. I use them to make dummy clips and also for other sewing projects. Long lasting, would recommend.

THEY DONT WORKSTUDS TOO LONG SO WONT CLICK TOGETHER The stud that peirces through the fabric on the cap is too long. Which means you can't connect the two peices to button anything up. If you have the time maybe you could snip that little bit off once you've attatch to the clothes but otherwise a waste of money.

What you get is a bag full of 3 pieces of bits. o.k it's obvious how two of the parts snap together to form one half of the press stud (hole punch needed) but the other half? Your on your own on that! Defeats me.
