Water Bottles Pump Blue Manual Hand Pressure Drinking Fountain

This pump is for people who don't want to set up a water cooler or crock. I prefer to keep the water jugs on the floor in an unused room, but this means that I cannot just drain the water into a pitcher for the fridge. I received this pump quickly and found the parts were pretty intuitive to assemble: the schematic diagram on the box was unnecessary. I tried pumping water out of a cup into the sink in order to rinse it out, but the pump doesn't work unless it is sealed onto a water bottle. It does not suck water out of the jug, it forces air into the jug which pushes the water out through the spout. This is a clever way to do this as I believe the pump can be more compact. The pump comes with three sections of tube which you screw into the bottom of the unit to carry the water up to the spout. I use three-gallon jugs, so only two sections are needed; a five-gallon jug would require the third section. To install the pump onto a jug, you just push the pump onto the opening with enough force to seal the top of the jug to the rubber gasket. This takes very little effort. Then you just slide the outer locking ring down to hold everything in place. It may sound complicated as I describe it, but it is actually very easy; you can do it in under 10 seconds. When you push down on the plunger you are actually improving the pump's seal to the bottle. Pretty sneaky, eh? When you first try it, you ask yourself, "How can this possibly work?" It does. I did pump out some water to rinse out the pump before actually filling my fridge water bottle, but I rinse or wash all new plastic food items as they are often lightly lubricated for ease of assembly. I pumped out just a few ounces of water for this. All up, I think this is a handy little machine that will save you a lot of effort. You won't have to wrestle with pouring water from a 25- or 40-lb. jug without spilling water everywhere.

This pump works just as I expected--Beware it is not high-quality and I'm sure it has a limited lifespan but...... it does exactly what it's supposed to do. I don't regret purchasing this product in the least.

It kind of feels like it doesn't quite fit on the water jug .Does not feel sturdy at all. It feels so cheap and flimsy, BUT it works pretty well. We used it on a camping trip and yea it did what we needed it to do. After you are finished pumping the water it kind of spits a little bit out so I would say leave a cup or a towel or underneath it or you will end up with a puddle at the end of the day. I would be nice if it came with a bag or a more permanent means of storage. It comes with a brush for cleaning the straws and spout. It's very light weight and packs down pretty small (reused the box it came in for storage). No telling how long it will last but so far so good.

I like the idea for what is used for, but not great in durability. When pumping water the top button that you pressed down, sometimes it gets caught around the blue edge coming back up. Does not snap down on any of the 5 gallon water bottles. If you are pumping consistently to fill up a watering can the top part will pop off because of the air pressure buildup. I had to use a tie strap to hold the pump securely on the bottle neck.

The media could not be loaded.  I was nervous due to the previous reviews so I went ahead and purchased the ajedrmy 3 silicone lids for $7 with this pump. Popped everything together (after washing) in less than 2 mins. The pump fits fine on my American Maid 3 galloner from Walmart but it is slightly loose. With the silicone lid it fits perfectly snug! It's easy to put on and take off for refilling. No batteries or plug required. I'm quite happy with this affordable dispenser!

Alrighty guys I had moved from the city to the country.. and in doing so it snows here... Who would have known that pipes freeze and water would freeze? And who knew that we would have no power! It never crossed my mind though! LOLI didn't doing so I've had pipes to freeze and I didn't have water for weeks. So I had to go and buy water just to use to flush toilets to drink to shower etcSo I finally got smart and I bought this product!So this was a very easy to assemble! I didn't even need instructions!Next it was very easy to fill up my water jugs and put this product on my water bottles. Also you don't need batteries for this product. You don't need to charge anything or have electricity or waste money on batteries to operate this product this is a manual water pump!And if you don't have power you can't use normal pumps but with this one since it's manual you do not need any batteries or power to operate it is awesome when you have a power outage!Lisa said that we have had a few power outages and no water due to no power! And this little pump is very mighty you pump it one time and it feels almost a full glass of water! It's amazing!!This product has saved my butt especially in these winter months and when we get rolling blackouts in the summertime I'm definitely going to be using this for that time as wellSo if you have multiple animals and humans in your household this is a great product to save your own but from so you would always have water in case of an emergency!The price is very reasonable very easy to clean very wonderful easy to assemble product you will never go wrong with this product!This is perfect for emergencies! So if you stay prepared you don't have to be scared

We recently started using the refillable water jugs & did not want the machine to take up space and money. Sure, it would be been good to have hot water at the ready but boiling it wont kill me. I had completely forgotten these pumps existed & BOY! am I thrilled to have stumbled upon this because its made a huge difference for us in a day. No taking up space. No $200 wasted on the machine nor some electronic pump that needs to be constantly charged. Just a simple pump making life a little easier. Its not fancy, it does what its supposed to & it does it well. We are quite happy. 100% recommend.

For the money, I had my doubts. But a friend recommended it and it works fine. Seems a little flimsy so I treat it gently and I don't have to heft those 5 gallon bottles anymore.
