A bit too basic for GCSE
It's an OK introduction to the history of medicine, but I would definitely combine it with another book on the same topic (or do lots of Internet/ Library research instead) because the chapters are very short and don't provide a lot of information. I'd say it's better for kids aged 10-13 as a fun intro to the history of medicine, but I wouldn't recommend it for someone taking exams.
