Ideal product for small flock of hens
The pellets arrived as promised - prior to arrival they sent a helpful email with full details on how to safely use the product, not to eat the eggs etc during treatment. I’ve used these before, they’re good qualityand with only a few pet rescue hens it’s much easier than trying to measure the right dose with flubenvet powder and the birds seem happy to eat them. Buying online also saves me driving 30 miles to my nearest agri store. Make sure you use them within the best by date, they shouldn’t be kept for long. If I have extra after treating my 5 I give some to a friend with 2 hens.

No complaints on taste
My hens seemed very happy to have this in place of their regular pellets.Went down well.Doesn’t smell bad at all.Will be replenishing good bacteria with natural yogurt and fermented feed, when the recommended 7 day course is up.The bag wasn’t as big as I expected. My own fault for not thinking about what 5kg looks like. Hoping it will last the 7 days, if not I’ll have to order more. So it’s quite expensive I think. But essential, so it is what it is.

Fed my flock of hens this, and the next morning my rescue hens of 2 days were so perky , then this morning I actually found a dead ringworm through one of their poops.It's working and the hens were so hungry and weak, now they are much happier.I rang the heygates helpline too and was satisfied with the info I was given.Very pleased.
