After the last time I used JFM, and it burning my hair and skin I was dubious about Blackbeard. To my suprise, it is easy to apply, my skin is very sensitive and I experienced zero irritation, looks natural, dries quickly and lasts well, to top up if needed takes seconds. This will definitely be my go to from now on. I'm just tiny my tache so a little is gunna go a long way.

Great product good colour and easy applicator brush. Colour last even after washing face several times in the day. Good coverage but only downside is the bottle doesn’t last very long

As you can see from the first photograph, my beard is very white and quite bristly and I thought it would be difficult to cover. I act in theatre and the father Xmas look is not right for many roles, so I am really pleased that I discovered Blackbeard. So far I have tried light brown, which did turn out to be ginger, however it fitted the character I was playing quite well so I was very happy with the results. For the part of baddie Sir Jasper De Vyle in pantomime I tried the black to very dramatic effect. In the next few weeks I will be trying the dark brown with a goatee and shaven head. Only one thing bugs me, despite people saying "it washes out easily", sorry it doesn't. It would take me ages after the performance to wash it out, until I discovered that baby oil on cotton pads before a good wash with soap and water makes the whole process a whole lot easier.

Great for touching up the odd grey but looks heavy on full beard. Also smudges on clothes and had to wear black to cover up-stains.

It’s the second time I’ve ordered this product. The first product I bought was fine for 3 months, then the brush started to come out of the holder. I decided to buy it again, thinking that it may have been the effect of daily use over 3 months that caused this. However, on day 2 of using it the new one, the brush has come out of the holder and now it’s stuck in the main part of the product. So basically really poor quality applicator. The sad fact is that the product does work well on stubble and covers the greys. But the poor quality of the applicator brush that breaks, ruins the entire thing. Sadly, not one to buy until this has been corrected.

Basically mascara for the beard but does the job, comes off on clothes and hands and difficult to wash out, I used washing up liquid which did not remove it, then I used shampoo which worked a lot better at least twice

Was not expecting much considering the variety of reviews good and bad but I was very impressed with this stuff. It is basically makeup for you beard. It has a mascara the applicator that is very easy to use. It goes on easy like brushing your beard and you just fill in the grey as you go. It is also resistant to smudging. You need to really rub to get a lot off so it did not stain my clothes or come off easy. You need to use soap and water to really get all of it off so it does not run or smear under normal use. It may also seem a little pricey but it depends on your individual use. I only have a goatee so one dip is all I need per use. So it is much cheaper than buying a whole beard dye kit to waste. If you have a full big beard I suppose a kit is much more economical but I put this on in the morning and off at night. I expect the one container will last me a lot longer than one dye job. Plus I can choose when to use it and can touch up during the day if needed. It is small enough for taking on the go, can’t do that with a dye box. Anyway, this is a great product that goes on easy, stays dry, and does not come off until you wash it off. I will buy again.

The product is described in the heading as “…6-pack (Black)” which is totally inaccurate. When my order arrived there was a single pack of the product. Will post another review when I try the product.

This stuff is amazing. It is a godsend. I had been dying my mustach and beard and it was destroying my skin. I tried this stuff and THANK YOU. It is so easy to use I can't even believe it. I put it on in less than a minute. I put it on before work in the morning and I am good to go. The best part is that I leave a little gray on the edges so it looks totally natural. Now the downsides. it wears off over time but very slowly. It still looks fine after a day at work, but if I'm going out at night I might do a touch-up. The other issue is it can rub off on a towel, so I have to remember to use a tissue after a shower to get off any excess. But that's really it. It stays on well and doesn't come off on my shirt collor or pillow. I would subtract a half star for this but since I can only do 4 or 5 I will do 5 because overall I am very very happy to have found Blackbeard for Men!And also the Cap'n sends you a free dating guide book if you go to their website which is pretty funny. They have a whole pirate theme which is pretty funny and goofy videos as well.To summarize a very good product and it matches well with my beard and looks natural and really has only minor downsides but much less than dying so I am now sold, Arr! for Blackbeard.
