Why does it say leed free on the description, title and picture? did they do this intentionally to make us think its lead free when its not?

The fitting is intended for and is restricted to non potable water applications under the safe drinking water act of 2014 and should contain under .24% lead in the product, seeing that the fitting says lead free and not zero lead it complies with federal regulation.

It can be used in 1/2" galvanized pipe, but you must ensure that the corresponding threads are consistent and that the specifications are used.

How can I connect a garden hose to this adapter?

The male end of your garden hose goes in the female connection on the adapter and the male (I think it’s 1/2 in could be 3/4 in ) end allows u to connect to a female 1/2 in pipe
