Not as described and damaged
First off, the product gown in photo spears to be in a tube. The item sent to me was tub and small tube.On delivery there was a strong smell from the package. When I tried to open the packaging it was all stuck together, clearly the product was leaking and was put in the bin!The product I received was not as described, the container damaged, hence unusable.

Works brilliantly
I first tried plastic padding approx 50 years ago to fix a leak on the petrol tank of a Suzuki 50 cc. It worked then and it still works now.The latest fix was a leaking radiator tap as a temporary repair. It did the job perfectly.Very easy to get the correct mix as you just squeeze two lines of each tube to the same length.

Not great
I was using this to fix a leak in a bend-union on a copper pipe. I had two issues with it.It was a warm place to work and following instructions, the stuff was setting into an unworkable state in 10-20 seconds. This is just too quick.It's just not easy enough to work with in a cramped and almost out of reach place (which all leaks are invariably in).Anyway, it failed to stop the leak and i ended up paying a plumber.

Filled my hole a treat.
This sealed the pin holes in the fuel tank of a 40 year old motorbike that I am restoring. I was not sure which 'tank sealer' to get but this done the job.When you first mix it it is fairly runny with the consistancy of victoria spinge mix so flows well.But be warned, you have 2 minutes before it starts to harden and become unpliable.2 minutes was plenty long enough to do the job for me.Be sure to read the comic book type instructions (pictures and words) and pay particular attention to the temperature part.

Leak- temporary-fix
I repaired a leak in my fuel tank and it worked for 3 months. However it has now failed. A temporary fix only. Do not rely on it

Three Stars
The seal keeps coming off the tumble dryer but works as a temporary measure.

Plastic Padding

The issue we had was the tank had perished around the union joint, I sanded the surface clean, so the epoxy had something to key to, but the copper expands/contracts differently to the epoxy, so it eventually started dripping again. Unfortunately, our wardrobes were built around the tank, so I have had to take them apart, drain down the system, and replace the hot water tank, it was only a few hundred pounds more to ditch the vented system and replace the header tanks / hot water tank with a combi. But it would have meant lifting the floors throughout the entire house. So not great news, but as I said, it will do as an emergency repair to stop any ceilings/floorboards getting ruined until you can sort it out."}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Does this bond with polyethylene? i have a liner with a leak and other tapes/glues welding is not holding the water.","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"short answer no not for liner leaks will crack"}}]}]}
