Flexitol Platinum Express Heel Balm 50g, Intense Rapid Repair and Moisturisation for Cracked Heels and Dry Feet

I actually wish I had taken a picture of before and after. I have suffered with very sore, cracked and painful heels for years. I've tried so many things, I have a monthly pedicure but nothing really stopped it. Even the GP was no use. Bought this and using it twice a day for a week, within 3 days there was a noticeable difference. For the second week I used it once a day and have also been using the Flexitol Intensely Nourishing Foot Cream as well (one morning, the other night). My feet are the best they have been for years. Two weeks on my worst foot still has a small bit of hard skin so I have ordered another tube as I've just managed to squeeze the last bit out of the one I have. My only gripe is that it doesn't come in a bigger tube. I read a review that complained that they slipped in the bath... you have cream on your feet, whatever product you use will make your feet slippy in the bath if you have not washed them before stepping in! This is a really fab product and I cannot tell you how happy I am!

Having problems with cracked dry feet for several years, feel like I have tried every scrub/ moisturiser/ bath and shower moisturiser, still had problems. I've used 2 flexitol products over the last month and can say both have been brilliant, this platinum one, I will agree, feels slightly grainy on application but it does dissolve straight in, so whilst it feels a bit weird, it is not noticable after application. My treatment has taken a few weeks, my feet were extremely cracked and painful, I have no pain and one foot looks perfect, the other foot with the very deep crack is 95% now and not painful, . Great value, so happy with the result, no strong odour, no negative odour to product.

I thought I'd get this cream to help keep my feet nice & soft. I don't have any hard, cracked skin on my feet, they are pretty soft & smooth but I do have some dry areas that aren't as soft on my heels & side of my big toe. I have been using a nano glass file to remove it, following up with a urea based cream. I went for this cream, as it contains 30% urea. It does seem to work ~ I decided to focus on one foot so I could compare ~ I filed my foot & followed up with this cream ~ after just one day there was a noticeable difference between my feet. The next day my whole foot was much softer, including the areas I hadn't filed & the areas I had filed were much softer than they had been. Unfortunately I am not very keen on the gritty consistency that this cream has.... I am not sure if it is meant to be like this ~ after receiving it & testing it for the first time I re-read the description as I thought maybe it was an exfoliating cream, but the description does not mention this... I did wonder if it was because the cream was cold or just because it was the start of the tube but it is still the same... Compared to filing alone this cream really does make a difference, I'm just not sure what to do about the gritty texture....

Don’t normally write reviews but felt this was so amazing it deserved one! I am on my feet with no socks for most of the day with my job and my already dry feet have started to become cracked on the heels with splits appearing next to both of little toe nails from the bed and a really painful crack on the ball of my foot which was red inside. My heels had started to become really cracked and sore too. After 2 applications the cracks have started to heel and my feet are no longer sore. Honestly can’t believe it! Love the cream!

I do suffer with dry feet, after going away for 2 weeks, with sand, salt water and chlorine, and forgetting my cream, the entire soul of my feet including toes and heels were covered in thick hard dry skin, they were cracked and bleeding it was agony, I ordered this cream so it was there when I got home, after covering my feet in it and covering with socks, there really was a dramatic difference in just 1 day, after a week my feet were back to normal and could go back to my normal foot moisturiser would definitely recommend

I had hoofs for feet, very bad build up of hard skin and nasty cracks. I tackled the skin with the Microplane colossal foot plane, which works extraordinarily well, and then used the micro pedi to smooth it all off a bit. And then I applied the cream. First up it is a beast to get the little silver seal off the cream, and once you have sworn and sweated your way through this (I reccomend tweezers) the cream has to be forcibly ejected, it is that thick. All well and good so far. The cream was applied and to be honest it made my feet feel rather good to start with, softened them nicely almost instantly. However.... Half an hour after application, the cream made my feet slither around in my footwear, and one day later it feels as though I have a greasy buildup on my heels, which is not a nice feeling at all. The cracks are largely unaffected, and the surrounding skin feels more as though it has been filled with a greasy wax rather than smoothed, and if anything it feels a little swollen, even though it is not. It did make my feet softer, but at what price?

This heel balm was recommended to me by my chiropodist as it has a high concentration of a substance called Urea. This apparently softens and repairs hard cracked skin and is great for getting rid of calluses on the back of your heels. I was advised that I must use the Platinum Flexitol balm as it has over 30% Urea in it and the others a less concentrated. Well, I can say that this balm is amazing. My feet were never too bad overall, but the back of my heels were cracked and had calluses on them. Not anymore. In two weeks they are gone with the help of my pedicure smoother. I would highly recommend this product, it is fantastic

I'm a podiatrist and I reccomend this for helping to keep away thickened cracked heels and hard calluses after they have been removed in the clinic. This stuff really helps to slow down the return of hard skin as urea at high percentages is a keratolytic agent (breaks down keratin which is a hard protein in the skin that makes calluses hard). My only problem with this product is it is in such a tiny tube. There should definitely be an option for a bigger tub like there is for the 10% and 20% urea products.

Texture is like dried white toothpaste. Imagine if you pit that on your heels. Makes them look drier coz of the white color. Waste of money.
