Makes wood splitting easy

So sharp out of the box the blade shield was cut. Nice weight and solid construction. Very tough handle. I spent the day splitting wood and the head design is excellent for splitting. I accidentally grabbed a green hardwood and it split easily. I had to peel the green fibers off to finish the split. I recommend this tool.

700 g is stamped on the axe head and 700 g is 1.5 lb.

I bought this for my son so I have no personal knowledge of the product. However he did let me know that he used it on the biggest log that he had and it split on the first try. He's happy with it.

Works great for my needs

So I just got this axe today, spent the last hour splitting wood with it and I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by this one. First off I was half expecting the handle to break in the first few swings. After using it for a little while I have no worries of that happening anymore, this thing is sturdy. Comparing this axe to others that are more than double the price, you can't go wrong with this one. Costs a fraction of the price and does the exact same job. This axe goes through wood like it's a hot knife in butter. The handle is long enough and light enough that this axe takes minimal effort to swing, and still gives the same results. I highly recommend this axe to anyone that even thinks they might have to split some wood. It's one of the lowest prices on Amazon and there is nothing cheap about the build quality. 110% satisfied customer.
