I confess I bought these not for the purpose intended ... But since I was so thrilled with them (just arrived today) I figured I would venture forth and post a review. I might in fact use one or two for my disabled bus pass but that would be as an aside.For some time now I have been trying to find the "ideal" solution for camera straps ... Mind boggling range of prices and models. But apart from the strap itself there's the issue of how to attach it to a camera and if possible to detach easily as well so the camera can be used without a dangling strap or the strap could be used across a range of cameras.I tried various attachment mechanisms including ones by Peak Design and Op/Tech ... Finally settled on some plastic loops by Op/Tech ... but still needed to find appropriate lobster-claw clasps. The ones on these lanyards looked good and so since they are not exorbitantly expensive I went for it ... Turns out they are absolutely PERFECT for the job. I have a couple of sets of lobster claw clasps - one pair on a Jacob's strap, and the other pair I got from keyrings that had those little pound-shaped medallions you can use for getting at grocery carts in some supermarkets. These clasps here are orders of magnitude easier to operate, and are INCREDIBLY easy to attach.Being metal, I am slightly cautious of using with my new cameras, but the shape of these actually cause them to stick out a bit and minimise the chances of actually coming into contact with the camera body ... Really good value. Some reviews had mentioned the clasps weren't very good on these. I don't think that is the case. I have been using these for a while now with no problem and they do appear to be fairly sturdy and well made.

Good solid metal attachments. Feels good quality. Arrived in a paper envelope in a bit of a noted mess. Bold colours. Wearable. Took a while to arrive. Metal hook opening rather limited (inwards) so beware of what you may attach. I had wanted to attach my child's chew toys but won't go through the opening. Good smooth finish. Good value.

They do the job needed. To hold a plastic credit card sized ID badge which has been pre punched for the clasp to attach to. No issues and plenty of spares. Well worth the money.

Bought for a school disco to make vip passes , not the strongest of lanyards but for the price ideal for what we needed . Lovely colours and quite soft fabric children were really pleased with them.Would buy again .
