I've been using magic sponges for some time now to reduce the use of cleaning products. Great to use in the bathroom, kitchen and particularly good for keeping stainless steel pans shining as they don't scratch anything!

They work well but fell apart too easily.

Unlike so many people reviewing this product, I have used melamine sponges before. These sponges are essentially sacrificial, so they do slowly disintegrate whilst you are using them. That is normal for this type of sponge. They are not dish sponges, and not for wiping the sides, which is what other reviewers appear to be using them for, and then leaving 1 star reviews because they're not much cop at that.I searched for the cheapest next day delivery of these sponges. I only needed one, but they come in a pack of 10, so I bought ten. They turned up next day as expected. They are exactly like all the other melamine sponges I have used, and they performed just as well as any I have used in the past. The size in the first photograph is a little misleading, but for the price, I will happily let that slip.Basically, these are as good as any, and I guess that would include any name brand ones. I am a little stunned at the price, as I first bought one of these sponges many years ago, and it was about £10 for one the size of a single one of the ten that came. Thirtieth of the price? So cheap. I mean, just so cheap. And perfectly good.One last thing. These sponges come with very little packaging, although the packaging they do come with appears to be exactly what you would want to protect them from dirt, excess water, etc. The packaging is a thin crinkly plastic sheet, hot welded on itself, with a glued flap. It does not appear to be recyclable, but there isn't much of it.

They are not what they describe, they are really thin and not like photo.

These disintegrate immediately upon scrubbing. Really bad quality. There are better quality cheap sponges on Amazon. These are not them!
