Absolutely fantastic.Fast transfers (85Mb/s peak in my benchmarks) and wonderfully compact and non-fussy enclosure. Clip-in cable is also a great addition that's worth buying this over anything else (Losing your cables or having moulded cables poling out is a pain!)The USB-A socket on the device itself is a violation of the USB specification (It should have been a Type B or Mini/Micro downstream connector) but I see why they did it - Type A plugs are 1000x more robust than Mini/Micro and trying to fit a type B would have required a larger enclosure. Just be aware of this because if you DO lose the cable, you'll struggle to buy a replacement in the highstreet in an emergency.

Has in-built software that REJECTS large video files! There's info on the web about how you can re-configure files to get it to accept them - but what's the point???

Hard to believe the rugged claims when you look at is and feel it but apparently it is. Just look up the destruction tests on YouTube!Fast, reliable, just what I needed. Love the USB A to A too, people say these cables are hard to find but they're really not. Ok you won't pick up one in Tescos Express but for goodness sake just don't lose the cable! I like it because it's a rugged connection, not like the flimsy micro USB things.I bought this over a year ago and heavy useage has caused no problems thus far.

Great HDD that I can chuck in my bag and not worry about babying it like some of my other HDD's. USB-USB Cable in built into the side for super portability and comes with a longer cable as well just in case you need it! Really nice touch. Speeds seem really good and I transfer a lot of photos to and from it for work so I've been really pleased! I use it pretty much every weekend when out the office so i've always got the data I need with me.

Don't want to jinx anything but this is the longest-living external hard drive I've had (almost 2 years). I've even dropped it a few times, something that almost always killed other external drives in the past.After countless losses of data over the years I am still pessimistic about all external drives so still cannot truly believe this one won't eventually let me down, but if and when that happens, I will post back here.

Good tough item. Haven't had issues when travelling with it. I use it to full back up my laptop and DSLR camera. No issue so far, a year later.

I have had this hard drive a short time but I think it's excellent for my needs. Very fast speeds both read and Wright.

So far so good. Dropped it 3 times already and still working fine. Not yet submerged in in water but having researched the Military spec tis has then I am pretty damn confident it will withstand a good soaking. Impressed. Tho the usb is a bit specialist. So, worth carrying the extra long cable also provided. Good service from reatiler too :-). Would buy from them again :-)
