Can this be mixed in cold water versus hot? I'm looking for a replacement for Sturm's Spiced Cider Drink Mix. I got hooked on those in the sandbox.

I didn't know the answer to your question SO I JUST tried it with a pack of the Alpine Spiced Cider I recently rec'd. The answer is "Yes". You have to stir it longer than when mixed with hot water and I don't find the flavor as "savory" in cold water but it is still delicious! What is the expiration date on these packets?

I've had them for several years, they are still very good since the packages are sealed. The CE2206D 19:25, that is the only code. I have no idea what the letters stand for. Even the box lacks an expiration date.

There are 60 pouches per box. Just add water.

How much cider does one package make?

One packet makes a 8 oz cup of cider, I use two because I used a large 16 oz mug and like it strong. Hope it helps.
