RockTape Extra Sticky Kinesiology Tape - Athletic Tape for Muscle Pain Relief, Injury Recovery - Microscopic Skin Lifting & Decompression - Sweat & Water Resistant

I had my hesitations about this tape. Having played lacrosse in high school and some club league play in college, I had experience taping my ankles when I had some pain in my heel. When the longer distances started to stress my heel again to the point that it was uncomfortable to walk, I taped them up, but was still walking carefully to avoid any pain. I had been given a sample of Rocktape from one of my favorite monthly subscription services (Stridebox) and decided to give it a try. After watching a short video on their website to determine how to apply the tape for the issue I was having, I was able to get it on and within minutes felt relief. I purchased a few rolls to keep around the house and only use it when I am having an issue (I don't want to rely on it), but I have found this to be an excellent product that is worth using for muscle soreness and strains. The one complaint I have, minor as I am still reviewing this with five stars, is that I am swim as part of my training. They claim that this will stay adhered even with being submerged in water. I have found that it is not always the case. For prolonged swims, this falls off pretty quickly.

Lasts several days longer than other brands, even with showering. Yet, comes off easily. Easy to cut and apply, comfortable and doesn't irritate the skin.

Works and sticks well.

Did not stick for long. Yes, my husband followed the requirements and one of his daughters, who's a runner, swears by this tape. She not only uses for knees, also (R) shoulder and ankles as needed. After a grueling run it'll still stay in place with no pulled corners. Not the case with my husband. After shaving needed area for his (R) knee and cleaning after shaving, the tape was applied per instructions. It's very sticky so care is needed to make sure the tape doesn't self stick to itself but also furniture etc. Be situationally aware. After a few hours or less, and normal activity - no running but a brisk walk, the tape was already pulling up. Namely on corners. I'm sure it's a skin thing, the makeup of the skin, and just maybe this tape isn't for me or someone that has trouble with general tape; bandaids, surgical tape, etc. The quality and design of the tape is great. Just didn't work for me. As it turns out it was a very expensive trial for my husband. His daughter will certainly benefit.

Removing it was straightforward as long as I took my time, and it didn't leave behind a sticky mess. The quality is obvious from the moment you use it. It performs exactly as advertised, holds up extremely well against sweat and water, and gives me confidence that it will stay where I need it. Whether you're training regularly, recovering from a minor strain, or simply looking for dependable muscle support, this tape is an excellent choice. I'm very happy with this purchase and will definitely keep a roll in my gym bag. RockTape Extra Sticky has earned a permanent place in my recovery routine. Highly recommended!

I purchased RockTape after being involved in a bad car accident to tape up my broken clavicle. I stopped wearing the arm sling immediately and for about 85 to 90% percent of the day. I only wore the sling for temporary support in the evenings when my arm was tired. I found Youtube videos demonstrating how to apply the tape, and was able to do it myself, and got more efficient each time I reapplied it. The longest I wore the tape was about 5 days, and it survived soapy showers until the end. I started replacing it more frequently due my physical therapist skipping over the taped area, so I would remove it before therapy. I'm also highly sensitive to everything on the planet and this tape was no exception. I was fine until days 4 and 5 and the area would begin itching. As for tape removal, be careful not apply the tape and keep removing it to readjust it. It's fine during the initial application to adjust it a little bit, because when you lay the tape you rub it gently to heat it up which sets it. After you set it, if you try to readjust it, the edges will peel and it won't stick as well as it should.

Not nearly as sticky as "extra sticky' would suggest. This tape was pealing as soon as I put on my pants and rolled horribly.

Excellent quality, the best tape I used so far. Waterproof and can be left on skin for 3 consecutive days. Highly recommended
