Brings Back the Shine
These polishing cloths are a game changer for metal care. I used them on my Tudor BB58, and they removed deep, visible scratches from the case and bracelet far better than I expected—leaving a smooth, even finish. They also bring back the shine on silver, gold, and other jewellery in minutes. The light vanilla scent makes them pleasant to use, and the resealable packet keeps them fresh for multiple polishing sessions. An absolute must-have for watch and jewellery enthusiasts.

Mirror finish
Great polishing cloths. Be sure to wear disposable gloves if you don’t want the oil all over your hands. Polished my brass vorso mk1 spinning top up to a mirror finish. Glad I bought them the two cloths in the pack will last me ages.

Clean copper really well
These were recommended to me by a jewellery maker when I bought a copper wrist cuff from her. The cloths are quite small but you get 2 in the packet. They're quite greasy but they smell ok, a bit like almonds. Each cloth has a bit of plastic bag around it so you don't get too much on your fingers. It washes off easily with handsoap. You rub the cloth on the metal to clean it and then use another dry cloth or paper towel to remove the residue and polish it further. It works well and the outer packet has a sealing top to keep the cloths from drying out. The instructions say that if the cloths do dry out they can be revived with vegetable or baby oil - not sure I'd bother with that, probably be time to buy some more by that point!

Works brilliantly
It takes a lot of elbow grease to restore work stainless steel surfaces to something resembling their original shine - but it does eventually come surprisingly close! It took me about two hours to polish up a 25 year old Breitling wristwatch with stainless steel casing and strap. The brilliance of the shine it achieves is easily equal to a brand new watch. Note, however, that anything deeper than micro-scratches resulting from mild abrasions will of course not be removed. The end result is a watch that is remarkably shiny, but if you look closely there are scratches that do catch the light at certain angles. However, because the edges of those scratches are no longer sharp, but will have been smoothed by the polishing - it doesn't really detract from the look. For someone sitting at a conversation distance from the wearer, it essentially looks indistinguishable from a new watch purchased yesterday. I'd say that's a very impressive result for 2 hours worth of work! Cons: - The vanilla smell is strong, but tolerable. Not exactly pleasant, nor entirely unpleasant. If used in a closed room the smell will hang around, but will dissipate in about a day. - Polishing generates a huge amount of suspended metal dust on the cloth. You can polish one wristwatch with with a cloth, but no more than that. If I do it again, I'll wear gloves. It took two days of washing before my hands were not visibly grey anymore. - The cloth material wears away during polishing, so almost half of the cloth was gone by the time I'd polished one watch. It might be better for watches with smoother surfaces. The Breitling watches I worked on all had tiny screw heads protruding in a number places around the casings. These do grab fibres from the cloth from time to time, and wear it down. - The package description was wrong at the time of purchase - it said quantity 32. However, the package contained only 2 cloths! A huge discrepancy. I complained about this, hopefully it will be fixed by the time you read this.

Restoration Magic in a Tin – My Silver Looks Brand New!
I’ve tried plenty of liquid polishes and sprays over the years, but the Cape Cod Metal Polishing Cloths are hands-down the best for bringing dull, tarnished metal back to a mirror-like shine. Whether it’s high-end watches, heirloom silver, or brass fixtures, these cloths work wonders. What makes them incredible: • Immediate Results: You don't have to scrub for hours. The pre-moistened cloths cut through heavy tarnish almost instantly. I used them on a silver tray that had turned almost black, and it was glowing within minutes. • Versatile & Gentle: I’ve used these on silver, gold, brass, copper, and stainless steel. They are tough on oxidation but gentle enough that I’m not worried about scratching delicate surfaces. • Pleasant Scent: Unlike most metal polishes that smell like harsh chemicals or ammonia, these have a really nice, subtle vanilla scent. It makes the cleaning process much more enjoyable! • Reusable & Long-Lasting: The tin comes with several cloths, and a little goes a long way. As long as you keep the tin sealed tightly, the cloths stay moist and ready for the next job. Pro-Tip: Wear the gloves provided (or your own) because the polish can turn your fingers black as it lifts the tarnish. Once you’re done polishing, buff the surface with a dry microfiber cloth to get that ultimate "store-bought" sparkle. Bottom Line: This is the gold standard for metal care. It’s effective, easy to use, and saves you a fortune compared to professional cleaning. I won't use anything else!

Polish Cloths
These cloths work amazingly well. I bought some to polish up brass on some vintage purses. Makes the brass look almost new. The only thing is...you really can't reuse them, once you open the package, everything will dry up. BUT IT WORKS VERY WELL. I also tried on some old, tarnished silverware, worked great on that too. And it takes a while to get off your hands. STILL WORTH IT.
