A First Stamp Album for Beginners (Dover Children's Activity Books)

My grandson loved this album. And have had lots of fun finding stamps .

Lovely stamp album for a beginner to collect stamps.

I like the fact that this album has over a thousand black-and-white illustrations of stamps a stamp identifier table and index which makes it a really attractive start point for a young collector. I would have liked to know this details before I purchased, maybe a picture of one of the pages. Another thing I wanted to know was if the pages had those see through strips or pockets but there was no description of the product.

I found it not very "exciting-looking" for my 9 year-old granddaughter! The writing to explain "how to" was a bit on the grown-up side

My grandchildren love it. Not only do they have a new hobby but they are learning the names of other countries. An enjoyable pastime for them.

The album took almost a month to arrive. A lovely book, but more useful to an American child. 11 pages set aside for the U.S.A. only 2 for British stamps. My Grandson has already collected quite a few u.k stamps with so little space in this album. I would not recomend it to anyone wishing to collect stamps from the u.k. Took so long to arrive that I decided not to return it.

Fab book for a beginner.

Wanted as a present for grandson but was disappointed as the pages are dull with the stamp illustrations being in black and white. Does not help in attracting a youngster to a new interest.

A very good book for reference

A nice product for beginners in this hobby. Good information on Stamp identification and good ways to handle Stamps.

My great grandson was so thrilled to receive this book to begin his journey of stamp collecting. My children spent many years collecting stamps and I thought this would be a good time for Andrew to begin his journey. It is a fascinating way to learn about our world. Andrew is 8 years old.
