Question 2

just a quick question, if I order the £300 phone only model. can I just pop my 3 sim in and continue my current contract? cheers

Accepted Answer

yes. that's exactly what I did. Took my contract sim from xperia z2 and am continuing it on my LG g3. Mind you - you need a micro sim for this handset. Best wishes !

Question 3

Which antivirus app (if any) works well with this device?

Accepted Answer

I had McAfee on my LG and i found it to be the most annoying app on my phone. It prevented me from doing anything i wanted to do on it, this included using other web browsers than the default. If McAfee suspected i was trying to deactivate it, or tamper with it in anyway, it would make it appear the phone had "crashed", or bring up a lock screen to stop me doing what i was doing. Luckily, i found out how to disable it, but this was not without a fight with what i can only describe as a rogue app. I now use AVG Antivirus Pro which i got for free off the Amazon Store, and it works brilliantly.

Question 4

Can I purchase an extended warranty on this phone, beyond the first year's cover?

Accepted Answer

Hi, according to LG's site you can extend to 5 years* (note I have not attempted this) https://partners.domgen.com/LGOLR/indexServletAlso available to you is this site http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/cheap-free-warranties which might highlight if you already have extended warranties with your bank (which is what I have just found out). Hope this helps.
