You can time things in increments of 30secs by pressing the button above the dial and the time is shown counting down in the time display above the buttons. Whether you want to defrost or cook (you use the function buttons to select) you then can use the dial to select a more precise time which goes up in 5 second increments. It might sound and look a bit complicated, but once you’ve worked it out it’s really simple and straightforward. It’s definitely the best microwave we’ve ever had!

Hi, this is a brilliant microwave to use. Must admit the best I have owned. The 5 power levels are 1 to 5 1 - 100 2 - 80 3 - 50 4 - 30 5 - 10 Hope this helps
