SKIN79 Golden Snail Intensive Toner

I got the Golden Snail Intensive Toner from the SKIN79 Golden Snail Intensive Concentrated Moisture Booster Skin Care Line Korean Skincare - Made In Korea. This toner comes in a pump bottle, which is the first sign that it isn't like many toners. This toner isn't watery. It has a thicker texture, like a light gel serum. There is a small amount of added fragrance; I find the smell a little funky. It does rub in and absorb quickly. I'm not sure if this toner does as good at ensuring that any remaining cleaner is off my skin as some, but it is quite moisturizing. I've been using it in heat and cold and my skin has stayed moist. If snail products work for your skin, then I think this toner is a great choice.

I will admit that I had a hard time smearing this on my face for the first time - when I pushed the dispenser and a goo came out that was eerily similar to what I picture snail slime to be, it took a hot minute for me to actually convince myself to rub it onto my skin. But it is wonderful! It doesn't feel like slime at all, more of a really soft water based gel that absorbs well and provides really soft, smooth skin. I have been using it daily and haven't had any issues with it clogging my pores which I was really worried about since its more like a serum than a lotion, but its been wonderful. It comes in a beautiful bottle with a really light scent and goes on very easily. A lot of moisturizer comes in this bottle, it will last quite awhile. Recommend!

So I’ve only been using this product for about a week. My skin does feel softer, but I can’t tell for sure if it’s making a huge difference. I did make sure to test it out a small part of my skin because I can be a bit sensitive at times. But I had no adverse reaction so I went ahead and used it normally. I really like the smell and the hydration.

I’m an absolute devotee to the Korean cosmetics using snail mucin. This toner is more of a serum consistency than the watery one I had been using. Leaves my skin feeling ready to take on the serum and moisturizer. No issues with sensitivity and my skin is hydrated and toned well during this winter season. Definitely recommend!

I ordered this because I wanted to try something moisturizing and maybe work against the wrinkles that I'm beginning to see. I did not notice that this is a whitening toner until a few days after I started using it. But, I didn't actually think anything could whiten skin so I just kept using it. You'll see from the pics that over the first two weeks of using this Golden Snail toner, my skin does look different. There is definitely less redness going on, and I do feel like my skin is softer. This toner is thick. It's not like a witch hazel liquid. Smooths on the face. I'll continue using it. Will update if any other major skin changes occur.

Feels really good on my sensitive skin. Makes skin feel hydrated but not sticky and greasy. Has a subtle floral sent but doesn't stick around.
