Help me with mental clarity. Was a bit cynical at first but definitely help.

Fantastic product

I usually take 1000µg daily of 5-MTHF so these 600µg tablets are almost half my usual daily dose. I was aware of that when I ordered them so no complaints from me. I like the fact that the active ingredient is the quality assured Quatrefolic manufactured folate. Because the dose is smaller than my usual daily dose I rotate these 600µg tablets (one a day as advised on the packaging) with my other brand 1000µg tablets. In terms of price per tablet I'm not too impressed because compared to my usual 1000µg tablets, there is not much difference between these xSpan Labs capsules and my usual manufacturer's offering. Quatrefolic I suppose has a price premium. I don't like the fact that the bulking agent in these tablets is maltodextrin. I think it's very unlikely that the small amount of maltodextrin in each capsule will have a physical impact upon me in terms of blood sugar. Still, I don't like the eating maltodextrin (just a personal thing) and so a neutral bulking agent would have been preferable for me. The capsules are standard clear/white capsules. They are easy to swallow and slightly smaller than my 1000µg capsules. I like the fact that these capsules contain Quatrefolic because I had pretty much given up on buying an affordable Quatrefolic based supplement. I don't like the fact that maltodextrin is the bulking agent. I also struggle with the fact that the price of these 600µg capsules is close to the cost of my usual 1000µg capsules albeit those capsules aren't Quatrefolic branded. I may buy these xSpan Labs capsules again because I trust the active ingredient. I would probably go for a 1000µg preparation though and I don't think that xSpan produces a 1000µg capsule.

Excellent product has helped my energy so much

I read that a surprising amount of people are unable to convert folate into a useable nutrient, so to have this pre-methylated folate in an easily swallowed little tablet is excellent. I can’t take multivitamins as many of the vitamins in them upset my stomach, so I prefer to take individual supplements so that I can isolate the one causing the problem. As my folate levels were a little low, I thought I’d try these. Packaging the tablets in a letterbox-friendly bottle is brilliant, and the tablets are small enough to go down easily. They haven’t upset my stomach, so I’m happy to keep taking them. It’s a few months until my next round of blood tests but I feel confident that my folate levels will have increased. If that’s the case then I’ll happily keep up with these.

I have been in the supplement business for many years. MF is one of those incredible supplements most people should take, as it protects one of the most vital organs of the body, the Liver. The liver has so many functions involved in life. It cleanses, and it sends signals to the pancreas to help with insulin. If it gets fatty the body will decay from within. Keeping the liver clean will also help with hormones. MF will help treat a fatty liver, it can help with depression, anaemia and a whole host of other vital functions. This particular brand is a good company. I have tried many of their supplements before. It takes time for liver regeneration and taking this product with Milk Thistle and Cholie will also help fix, cleanse or just keep your liver in good shape. Overall, this is a good product that I know is working. I record my blood sugar and insulin on a daily basis and this product helps keep the glucose in check, by helping the liver to regulate the pancreas. Recommended.

I bought this on the hype that methylated folic acid might be better absorbed by individual with different genetics. So I tried just in case. However I see better effect with plain standard folic acid and that is 400 mcg.
