A MUST FOR CARAVANS & VANS.
W4 Mastic Sealing Strip 19mm x 5mm.White Waterproof Butyl Tape.Great Quality for fitting Windows/Skylights in Vans and Caravans.Used this many times and never had a Leak.Ideal for the uneven ridges in Van Roofs (do not use Silicone too thick).Use this and finish off with a bead of silicone and you will not get leaks (as long as roof is Clean& de-greased).Worth the Money for Peace of mind.I would give it 5 Stars if cheaper.

Stop leaks quick! Campervan Pop Top fixed!
Brilliant stuff, did just the job on a repair I needed to do. After having a pop top put on our campervan and finding out the hard way that it hadn't been sealed in any way, shape or form...I found this and got the job done, used in conjunction with sikaflex being extra cautious and wanting to leave a good finish on the outside. This was easy to work with, cut to size and sealed firmly down to stop any water ingress. I cut it to the full length required, applied over the screw holes and pressed it firmly into position, was then able to re-secure the poptop canvas down, using the original screws through the original holes, only this time those holes were well and truly sealed around the screw. We have had some torrential rain and fortunately had no more troubles with leaks. When I re-secured the pop top canvas down, the W4 mastic strip did 'bulge' out the edges making it look a bit messy, but i trimmed that excess off with a sharp stanley blade and then added the black sikaflex all the way around to finish the job off. 5 out of 5, but would have been 6 out of 5 if they made it in black!

Sticks to everything
Used to re-seal around a new Truma water inlet. Ensure that you are thoroughly prepared otherwise it sticks to everything except where it's supposed to be! Nothing wrong with the product, I'm sure it will seal properly.
