Aluminum Watercolor Palette (13 Well(10.04"x4.33"x0.75"))

This is a near replica Holbein which is now unobtainable. These palettes are wonderful. Light yet reasonably sturdy. Thumb hole so you can paint outdoors with them. The paint somehow mixes and remains on the metal much better than on plastic or ceramic palettes. I now have 5 of them in different sizes. I think the original Holbeins were sturdier but 3 times this price. So buy 3 !!! I was amazed at how much easier it is to mix paints on metal. A revelation. Marvellous

Came in a good condition, the colour was a little bit faded but other than that it’s a good quality palette with a lot of Wells. It’s a bit smaller than I expected it to be but I was looking for a smaller one than my Cotman 45 half pan studio set so perfect! It’s a good size with nice mixing wells, just waiting for my Holbein paints to come. It does seem like the palette that Miyazaki uses but obviously this one won’t be as good quality as his actual Holbein palette, if you’re looking for a substitute this one would be a good one for you. I’m looking to recreate a Miyazaki palette myself.

Great palette i really like it , good size wells light aluminium construction, it has a wonderful clean construction... It is light but i guess that would only be a possible issue if you have ever owned a heavier brass/ copper one .... as i have , as it happens . For the money you could not possibly criticise any part of it

A little disappointed with the thin gauge , seems a bit on the thin side ,only time will tell if it holds together , otherwise it is a nice pallet. The inside has enamel mixing area and nice size wells . Looking forward to putting it to task with my Winsor and Newton water colours.

I have several of these aluminium palettes, they are great for watercolours from the tube and I find the white enamel is great for mixing your colours on and so easy to clean off. I find it very useful, especially with a lid to keep the paints clean or to use as a large mixing tray

Absolute garbage! The outside finish was OK (one star), the inside was total rubbish. White enamel = grey enamel with a multitude of spots. Two seams were split, one with a gap, when pressed, the side tray moved up and down. Other seams looked decidely dodgy. Such a disappointment after such a long wait. The return process to the States was so complicated that in the end, I gave up. Money lost (I accept that) palette in the dustbin, best place for it!!! .... this is a follow up to the review above - I forgot to say, that what arrived was NOT the 'Color Around' brand. The box had a completely different brand name and hence, what the USA dispatched what not properly identified as the correct order. I stand by what I said above, which was obviously a MUCH inferior product.

This is a very well made palette. Lightweight and seems to be quite sturdy. It has wells for 30 colours which should be more than enough for any water colourist. Mixing areas are fairly generous so it ticks most of the boxes for me. Only downside is, I would say, fairly expensive for what it is. Otherwise very good.

Oggetto arrivato nei tempi previsti, molto carino, sembra abbastanza resistente, magari un po piccolo ma devo ancora usarlo, penso che sia utile

Buon prodotto, dopo doversi mesi di utilizzo posso confermare che è resistente e di facile pulizia. Chiude bene, ovviamente colori e tavolozza devono essere asciutti per non gocciolare fuori, d'altronde non ha chiusura ermetica. Io lo uso con i godet interi, che ho fermato con biadesivo e la profondità mi consente di chiudere bene la custodia (da 30) anche così (le 'fasce' di posizionamento dei colori sono su bordi opposti). Quando l'ho acquistato io costava molto meno del prezzo che vedo attualmente, conviene minitorarne l'andamento.

Muy ligera y práctica, funciona perfectamente para realizar las mezclas y rellenar cambiando los colores si quiero ir probando. Recomiendo, ver foto de la caja pues cada paleta tiene unas medidas diferentes según número de pocillos.

Cette palette est parfaite pour moi. Elle est plus grande que les boites à godets, mais pas encombrante au point de ne pas pouvoir la sortir de votre studio. C’est du métal, donc plus agréable (à mon goût) que les palettes en plastiques, sans pour autant être trop lourde. J’en rachèterai très certainement dans l’avenir.

Can’t believe how quickly it came. Thank you! I had one of these before. The new one is improved in that there is no hole for my thumb….more room for mixing. My old one was old and battered from travelling with it.
