Looking for coprinol paint sage colour for stone,, 2.5 ltr

I don’t know if you can paint stone with Cuprinol- I thought it was a wood preservative! The colour I got was perfect for my shed and trellis.

For longer lasting would you apply a clear varnish at the end to weather proof it?

No, it really isn't necessary. I like to apply 3 or 4 coats as this produces a slight sheen finish. I painted 3 sheds 5 years ago and they look good as new.

I intend to use this on a bench near my pond. Will it be harmful to frogs and newts if they crawl over it after it is dry?

No it's safe if there are animals around, I have 6 dogs who sit on a bench I painted
