The New Baby: An Activity Book for Soon-To-Be Big Brothers and Sisters

This seems to have proved quite popular with my nearly-six-year-old step granddaughter whilst she awaits the arrival of her baby half-sibling (my son's first baby with her mum to clarify!) I think she's about the right age for it as it may not hold a younger child's attention particularly - lacking somewhat in the bright, bold colours and illustrations that children love. It's probably not the best but it's also OK.

Mainly drawing and coluring activities - my 6 year old enjoyed it, but might be best suited to kids who *love* to color and draw. Lots of good topics for discussion about babies and growing as a family throughout the book. I like that it talks about the extended family as well.

Such a lovely book to introduce children to the idea of becoming a sibling. Well thought out activities with beautiful illustrations.

Lovely book - perfect for a 4 year old - and up to the age of about 6 years old - pictures and things to do are lovely for an older child waiting for and helping to explain a new baby arriving - the envelope and letter to write to the new baby at the back is a lovely touch !!!! Very pleased
