This is a very good radio clock at a very good price and is is far better than my previous Robert's radio which cost more than twice as much. It is handsome, compact, well made, and contrary to some reviews the controls are very simple and intuitive. I was able to set it up, including my preferred settings, in less than 5 minutes and only needed a couple of brief references to the user guide. Setting up the two alarms and all my required presets was a doddle, and the simple process of turning either alarm setting on or off, as well as both on or both off is unusual, simple, and useful. The reviewer who complained that a review is required in order to get an addition years guarantee is wrong. All you need to do is register it on line to get the two years. The only reward for a review (good or bad) is a pair of headphones, and I am looking forward to getting mine, especially if they are as good as the radio. Finally, I like the additional options of FM radio, AUX-IN, and Bluetooth. All are all useful to me and the 15 presents for both DAB and FM should be more than enough for anyone.. What more could you want for twice the money? Incidentally, it sounds good as well.

Original item faulty, virtually no sound output through built in speaker or headphone, whatever input was chosen. Phoned Azatom, very helpful lady, the next day I received a fully working replacement in the post together with postage bag and pre-paid delivery label to return the faulty original. Radio (DAB and FM) is easy to use and also the Bluetooth input and aux in. Haven't tried the alarm function but not why I bought it. Sound quality via the built in speaker is ok for the type of unit (small and cheap), speech very acceptable, music a lot better than a mobile phone but not suitable for serious listening. Good undistorted volume. Sound quality via good quality (Sony) headphones definitely a lot better but wouldn't describe it as hi-fi, either using FM, DAB, Bluetooth or aux inputs. Note both FM and DAB outputs via the headphone socket are in stereo, something I couldn't determine from the info before purchase. Bought the radio mainly to use as an FM tuner via an external sound system eg TV sound bar. The small size of the radio is good for this. Sound quality outputting the signal from the headphone socket to an external hi-fi is very much better than via the internal speaker (as expected) but as with the headphones isn't really hi-fi. Will probably be ok for my intended use, mainly for background listening to a local radio FM station through a TV sound bar. The signal level through the headphone output seems a little low (but satisfactory) for my hi-fi, even with the radio volume on max the hi-fi sound doesn't quite reach the sound levels of other hi-fi inputs. Note I have not heard any significant distortion from this radio, other than if listening to weak channels (the tuner does not seem particularly sensitive but should be ok for the main channels I listen to). There is very low level noise through the headphone output, only noticeable during quiet passages with the volume up high. In summary a cheap generally well designed easy to us little radio which can be used as a stereo FM/DAB tuner for an external sound system although not really hi-fi quality sound. Seems quite solidly built for the price. Excellent customer support in replacing the original faulty item.

Lovely clear sound. Easy to set up. Has a telescopic aerial (much preferred to the flimsy wire ones). Useful sleep feature for automatic switch off.

I.ve read some totally ridiculous things that people write about these sort of purchases - I bought this with the view to use it as a bedside radio - you do not need a 50watt boom box in the bedroom ! It is small and I was sceptical on how it might sound but was pleasantly surprised, it’s clear and pleasant sounding - we listen mostly to speech anyway so it’s fine. The main thing for us is the sleep timer, you go to sleep listening to the radio (DAB+). And you can set it to turn itself off from either 10 mins to an hour - it works for us. True there are other much more expensive units out there but I took the gamble on this one and it ‘s turned out to be a good choice - I had never come across this make before, previously we had Sony with the quirkiest menus ever ?! . . . This one has a nice PLAIN white on black display which is variable and shows the time and date which is transmitted over the air, plus station info - plus I can charge my phone at night via USB, there’s a headphone jack on the rear plus an accessory out and you can stream music via Bluetooth - I run it on mains but there is a batttery compartment should you fancy that as an alternative though I suspect the current draw from the display/Bluetooth might eat Batteries ! All in All happy with this purchase and price point - why pay more for a bedside Radio/alarm & DAB+ 10/10

Good quality clock/DAB radio with an attractive design, purchased to replace a much older (and larger) product. It was easy to set up and controls are easy to use, although small. It auto-scanned many radio stations very quickly and automatically set the time. The pre-set radio stations function takes a little time to get used to, but once you have mastered it, it is very useful. The sound is good for a small radio both for all types of music and for talk radio stations. The clock is very clear and the dimmer function is very useful particularly at night. Although not mentioned in the specs, it also displays the day and date. I have not yet used the alarm function which is why I cannot give it the full 5 stars. Go on line to get your 3 year guarantee and you do not have to prove you have written a review (which you obviously cannot do until you have used it for a little while). Altogether a reasonably priced DAB radio for which some manufacturers charge a lot more. I am pleased with my purchase.

First impressions were good. However there are some significant issues. The clock backlight is FAR TOO BRIGHT at night. Even on the dimmest setting. We have to switch it off which defeats one of the main purposes of having a bedside clock. I know it can be switched on manually but it then becomes full brightness first! Not good in the middle of the night! When the alarm does go off and the radio starts playing the backlight, being off, cannot easily be switched ON so you cannot see the time. The backlight control is the same button as the snooze button which then switches the radio off which is obviously not what is required! The clock backlight almost immediately has started flickering during the day. It is most annoying I have tried to contact customer service to discuss these issues but there was no answer using the phone number provided. This was a Friday afternoon. I have also tried to email but apart from an automatic read receipt - no response so far. I now need to find an alternative clock radio! I will be returning this one. Prompt refund on return. Update: bought Roberts ORTUSDAB FM/DAB/DAB+ Digital Clock Radio which is working perfectly.

Nice little radio but the alarm set up (which is what I wanted it for) is incredibly tiresome and long winded and if you get it wrong, you have to start again. When alarm is set to dab it is almost inaudible even when volume is turned up. I have resorted to the buzzer on occasions when it is vital I hear it, but that is a much less pleasant wake up call! A shame!

no he podido probarlo dado que viene con enchufe ingles y en España ese conector no funciona. Entiendo que al enviarlo a España se sobreentiende que debe venir con enchufe europeo.
