Screen Replacement White LCD Display Touch Screen for iPhone 7 3D Touch Digitizer Assembly with The Tool Set (white)

Great product, works perfectly. Well packaged. Be aware that home button, camera mounting, and proximity housing were slightly tricky to remove from old phone, and camera housing and proximity housing required super-gluing and were difficult to locate precisely. We have however managed to use this, and everything works perfectly. Had we known we might have chosen a product that comes with a home button and camera (if available). Also the Philips screwdriver didn't fit well (we used a set of tiny screwdrivers from Maplin that we already had), and a tiny flat screwdriver (which doesn't come with this set, but come with some others) was useful to lever some parts out). Awarded 5 out of 5 stars since we have a perfect phone again.

I'm glad I waited to review this. I fitted it myself and it worked for a time. However, it was very sluggish and nowhere near as responsive as a proper apple replacement screen. A year on and it was barely usable, constantly misreading my finger and make it almost impossible to use my phone. It then began developing another fault where it would stop recording my presses and then all of a sudden type 10-20 letters that I had continued to press. It was just horrendous. I say, save yourself the aggravation and hassle and actually get yourself an apple screen replacement. They are much better in the long run. This was a waste of money and I ended up buying Apple's screen replacement in the end anyway.

The screen arrived quickly along with the advertised tool kit. There was a link to a youtube video which clearly explained step by step how you replace the screen. It took me roughly 1 hour to do this and it was relatively straight forward.The screen looked just like the real iphone screen with good resolution and colours, however, the touch screen would not work at all if i had the slightest bit of moisture on the screen or my fingers. I could put up with this though, I just had to make sure my hands were always absolutely dry.About 1 month after using this screen I found that the screen touch sensor started to play up (it would think i was tapping/scrolling on the screen even when i wasn't touching the screen). I took the phone apart again to check the connections were ok, which they were, so I don't know the cause of this.After 2 months of use the glass started to come loose and peel away from the glue holding it to the metal part of the screen. I'll need to find another replacement soon.In summary - it's a cheap screen and would be ok for a months use, but as a long term fix it is useless.

The screen is poor quality, colours are off, not easy to read at angles, not very bright. the glass is also thinner than OEM glass which makes it fit almost flush with the metal part of the phone. this confused me at first and I thought I was doing something wrong until it all clicked into place. Another issue is that the touchscreen will be completely unusable upon the slightest bit of moisture on the screen, even sweaty hands will cause it to flip out and you will need to wipe it clean. The proximity sensor has not worked since installing this screen, I retraced all steps and even looked up how to fix this issue but nothing seems to work, and the ribbon cables that connect the screen to the iPhone itself are way too short which left me with nearly no room to work with upon reassembly.

Really really good screen. Can't tell the difference between the apple screen and this one. There were two issues with this screen when installing it. It was missing the locator ring for the forward facing camera and the locator frame for the light sensor. It wasn't a reall issue as I managed to remove the camera locator ring from the apple screen and glue it onto the replacement. I did remove the light sensor locator frame from the original but chose not to use it as it's to small and fiddley to glue. So far all is good! If it had these two pieces that were missing, it would have been 5*

So. When your daughters friend comes round and your over excited dog want to play with her phone and cracks the screen what do you do?? Well if you like me you will order this product.It arrived quickly and very well packaged. The tool kit that cane with it was ok. Could have had a better screwdriver as this one didnt seem to grip the screw properly.I wouldnt rely on the paper instructions provided. Youtube is your best option. Also rememeber to remove the red plastic from the rear of the screen when fitting.I had to remive the home button and camera but everything fitted as it should so no major dramas.I think for the price it was good value and has done what is intended forWould certainly buy again although im hoping i dont have to!!!

After having it replaced with a professional phone technician, a month later this is how long this lasted. Another thing the screen is not evn glass it's some cheap plastic! Never again will I purchase something like this! Apple shop only which is what I've should of done rather then going through this hassle!

Perfect, All the bits and bobs that i needed to bring my old phone back from the dead. Well priced and so far seems to work well.. It took me about an hour to replace the screen and while the included instructions are a bit NAFF i simply watched a few youtube vids. it is a fiddly job but very do-able at most skill levels.
