Q: What micron is this and is it suitable for a poly tunnel?

My understanding is that 250Mu means 250 microns. It's very heavyweight polythene, quite stiff so where it folds it leaves a bit of a crease. I am using it to cover a chicken run, over a metal frame. I've attached it with shock cords through eyelets and it seems tight and secure. I would have thought that it would be OK for a polytunnel stretched over a frame or blue water pipe or whatever you are using.

Q: what is the thickness of the sheet?

Cannot say in mm. but it is thick, you cannot see through it. it is much thicker than standard sheeting. if that helps.

Q: 2 questions 1. will this work as a waterproof barrier & 2. is the clearity of this plastic good for visibility of example artwork or fabric?

Hi. I bought this to cover panels of a new shed while I found time to put it up. It sat in the garden rain n all. Kept the panels dry. It’s tough old stuff but will like any plastic sheet tear if put over sharp edges. You can see through it but as I said it’s tough and maybe you want clearer plastic as it’s not cling film see through.
