Colour My Sketchbook EPIC Paperback – 29 July 2017

At first I didn't quite know what to make of this series of books by Bennett Klein [and I still don't]. I have been looking for something 'different' to colour and the reviews on this chap's page were just outstanding from the UK and the US. So I decided to take a risk and bought 2 of his most popular books. I have had a go at 2 of his pictures from EPIC, not very successfully but I have added the photos of my try out, Dragondog Master & Bloomin' Buck. I always use markers and brush pens - maybe that is my problem and I should be using pencils. The paper used in the books is a decent enough white paper but you will need to use a piece of card behind or cut the page out as I always do. I shall be colouring more from EPIC & BLOOM [which I also bought] when I feel I want to spend some time and add my own creativity to these incredible and very strange drawings.

This book is absolutely incredible,;;The images in this book are just wonderful;; there's some on black backgrounds in here too;; there's something for every skill level Bennett'swork whisks you away to so many different places. Each image has it's own story . I love to create story's around my colourings I always do my best work that way and this book really allows your imagination to run wild . Highly recommended artist to any adult colourist . I love Bennett's work;;; I have almost every book and in getting round to catching up on reviewsAll images are single sided,; I've never struggled with the paper at all in these books .. I work with mainly coloured pencils and only really use gel pens and markers as highlights ;, I put a couple of sheets of 300gsm card under the piece I'm working on to protect the image below xxx

I love everything Bennett Klein!! Each book is one step above the last one which you would think could never happen but Bennett pulls it off every time! I'm a member of his Facebook page and it is full of wonderful people and Bennett let's his presence known ... If your not a member yet and a fan of Bennett then head on over!! Love tthis book so much it's weird and wonderful all at the same time

Bennett Kleins has really upped the game for greyscale images this time!!!Another stunning collection of shaded sketches to colour in and make look absolutely fabulous.There is a good selection of easier pieces as well as those that are a little more advanced making this a fantastic addition for both those new to colouring and those who have coloured before.

most of images are ver fine, just some a little... macabre?dali would approve, i suspect!

Another masterpiece by Bennett Klein full of amazing and inspiring greyscale drawings. Everyone who enjoys coloring will love these images.His books cater to all levels of skill and experience.You will be inspired and stimulated!

Wow all I can say is Wow!!! This book is amazing and the pictures are beautiful!!! Bennett has definitely upped his game in this book, I would say it's his best one yet. Highly recommend!!!

This book is great for beginner and more advanced artists and has lots of variety with pictures to suit different people. Even the harder pictures are easy to colour once started.
