Works with older receivers too
I bought this to replace the push button unit on my older Honeywell system, which stopped working after many years. I was worried that it wouldn't connect as my receivers/chimes are probably 10 years old now and are labelled simply as Honeywell as opposed to the newer Honeywell Home branding. Fortunately the push button I received worked on the same 868 Mhz band and paired with both my receivers right away. My only complaint so far is the high price of the unit. £25 for the push button on its own is pretty steep, seeing as a complete set of button + chime costs just £37.48 at the time of this review.

Works with old Libra+ Chime with a bit of pairing
Works great with our old Libra+ Chime took a we while to get paired as had two chimes had to put back to factory settings and change frequency on chime and remove all batteries then put in chime batteries again first, on third attempt it worked, so saved me payer higher cost for discontinued older bell push that’s far more expensive

Honeywell DCP311G compatible with Friedland D914 chime
Bought this doorbell push to add a second push button to my old Friedland Libra+ D914 Chime. Pairing to the old chime is easy enough. You did keep your chime instructions didn't you? Just in case you didn't... LEARN MODE : To enable your chime to learn the identity of your bell push : Press the 🟣 button and keep it pressed. Each icon will light in turn. When the icon you want is lit, release the button. While the icon you have selected is lit, operate your push button. The chime will sound. The icon will flash. UNLEARN PROCEDURE : If you want to remove a push from the chime’s memory : Press the 🟣 button and keep it pressed. Each icon will light in turn. When the icon associated with the push to be un-learnt is lit, release the button. Press and hold down both 🟣 & 🎵 buttons, until a ‘beep’ sound is heard. CHANGING THE TUNE : Operate the push button. While the icon is flashing, press the 🎵 button. Press the button again and the tune will change. Repeat until the tune you want plays. I will probably update this review over time to report on the push button's durability.

Rev E works with Libra+
I have 3 Libra+ units, and the original Friedland doorbell push (or whatever it's called) failed after 10+ years, and only thanks to reviewer here I found a potentially compatible solution to to keep them running as Honeywell seem too keen to consciously avoiding advertise what is supported from the original manufacturer (and think "proprietary protocol" is a selling point - absolute nonsense like security by obscurity) . The amount of negative reviews is concerning, and I have to admit the plate mounting mechanism others have commented on looks as solid as cheese, it will no doubt snap and fail with a few battery changes. Only positive is it is positioned to be removed upwards so gravity should keep it in place. Someone else posted their Rev E was incompatible (and that is the only reason I needed to comment/review for others), I have to say mine worked, paired in seconds. The battery also appeared to be have a full charge when I briefly tested it with a multimeter. Time will tell if the battery and the electronics it lasts a decent amount of time. The "push" lights up after what feels a long time after the depression, but it was more noticeable that the original (a positive), and even if the switch engagement was short (in the few minutes I could be bothered checking) it appears to fire correctly, albeit with a short delay. The cheese based backing plate, support/documentation from Honeywell, and concerns over general build quality due to the sheer number of poor reviews are behind my knocking off a few stars. Should the battery and device lasts a reasonable time I will revisit the review.

ALL IS WELL WITH MY HONEYWELL BELL
This is a single Honeywell wireless doorbell, using a lithium C2032 (3 volt) round flat battery. Compatible with three Honeywell door bell units using 868 Mhz, up to 150 metres distance. I had already been using the model shown in the photographs (self labelled), the unit itself is mains operated, but after one year, the bell push began failing to respond correctly, until stopping functioning completely. The bell push battery tested as fully charged, yet despite various means to get the bell push working again, it didn't. Hence it was good to find that the bell push is available singly. The new one works perfectly and I hope that it shall last longer than 1 year. Unlike me, when this is depressed, it briefly glows red, just before the bell tone sounds. All is well with my bell!

Cannot get in contact for technical support.
No battery life, even using Duracell batteries they only last 4 days, so presume that it is discharging within the unit. Cannot return via Amazon they have closed the return window and having contacted Honeywell returns they will not deal with it because I did not buy direct from them and must go through Amazon. Tried the technical support and first it's a Scottish voice and then an American voice telling me they are dealing with other calls and then they tell you to phone back.

Gute Alternative
