Paradise Herbs & Essentials Energy Greens Powder, 30 Servings

I may be a little crazy (my wife thinks I am about this stuff), but I take one scoop every morning with a small glass of water. I basically down it like a college drinking contest. You don't buy green powder for the taste, you buy it for the nutrients and benefits of the product. So, all you people out there talking about bad taste, just get over it, it's green powder, not chocolate milk. Don't sip it like a fine wine, get it down the hatch! :) Now for the benefits. I have been taking the Paradise brand religiously for many years now (way before I wrote this review). This stuff is amazing for many reasons. My hair is thicker (49-year-old male with no signs of balding - thick hair like no other). Nails and skin look healthier and overall health from common colds and flu (I don't do flu shots - should we really be injecting our body with antiviral serum?) are non-existent. I live in Atlanta, GA where the spring pollen is like a haze all during the month of March and April. Prior to taking this powder, I would come down with an annual respiratory infection from the intense pollen. I am not a doctor, I can't explain this and possibly there is no relation to the Paradise Herb powder at all, but I am telling you right now straight up, I don't get the respiratory infections anymore and/or general colds. Additionally, I feel better, my skin looks younger and people think I am younger then I am. Do yourself a favor, take a glass every morning, don't skip a day and see for yourself. After 6 months if nothing changes then stop using it. For me this product is great, I have seen the results. The benefits of fruits and vegetables are well-publicized, so there has to be something to it. Update - 4/23/15 Well, I am still at it. One glass a day and still feel the benefits are genuine. Absolutely no colds, flu, sickness or respiratory infections (extreme pollen) of any kind. When I get my hair cut one of the first things the stylist always says is you sure do have thick hair. My response every time is that I think it is related to the Green Powder. I don't think it will assist in regrowing lost hair follicles, but there is definitely a correlation to how thick it is. BTW: I have absolutely no affiliation with this product what so ever other than a general consumer. Now if Paradise Herbs wanted to entertain thoughts of a spokesperson, then I would definitely consider it! Update - 10/13/16 Well, now 52, here we are again and I am still taking one scoop daily with a glass of water. It is the first thing I do after I get up every morning. I have been doing this for years now and the benefits are real. I actually look and feel pretty darn good for a guy who gets limited to no exercise (that needs to change though). In general, this powder seems to be a great source of vitamins and nutrients, don't necessarily like the taste much, but I do like the benefits. I am not going to stop taking it, and I hope this powder has helped improve someone else's life as well. Update - 2/7/18 Well, now 53. I am back to update another year later. I still religiously take a scope every morning. I usually get up at 5:00 am to get ready for work and taking a scope of Orac Energy Greens is the first thing I do. From an instantaneous perspective, I feel the product is great and helps takes the tiredness off in the morning. The long-term effects are very genuine and I am still a firm believer in this product assisting with fighting off illness as well. We are now in the midst of a very bad flu season, my daughter and wife have it bad (they don't take the green powder) and I have somehow managed to not get ill yet another year even being exposed in the same house! I really have no scientific evidence that my health is related to this green powder, but again I feel good, my skin and nails look good and people generally think that I am younger then I look. I am really not sure what else to say here, but purchase and try the product for yourself. I think you will be surprised at what a gradual difference you will start to feel. Update - 4/16/20 Well, now 55. I am still taking a glass every morning. Still, a believer in the results and benefits of this product and my thoughts still echo what I have written above. Also, its pollen season again in Atlanta and no respiratory infection, in fact, I have not been sick with a cold, flu of any kind in years. Not sure it will fend off the Coronavirus, but I am healthy as of this writing! ;) Update 4/4:22 Hi everyone! I am still taking this religiously, I am now 57 and believe that green powder is extremely beneficial to a persons health. I don’t know if everyone sees the commercials for balance of nature, they advertise on Fox news non-stop, this product from an ingredients perspective as a better product for sure. Anyway, I am still a firm believer I take a glass every single morning and see the results, I hope you do too! Stay healthy my friends… Thank you for reading and good luck! Note: I am not compensated in any way, I write honest reviews from my actual experience from using the product in an effort to give back for all the product reviews that have helped me make a good purchase. If you found this review helpful, note it below. Also, I respond to comments if there is a question.

I was fortunate to have tried the Paradise Greens, Protein+Greens, Greens+ and Green Vibrance. The one that seems to be the winner is Paradise Energy Greens and here is why: Protein+Greens - Taste takes some getting used too. Comparing it against the Paradise Energy Greens, the taste is more intense and it tastes more thick then the Energy Greens. Working out with the Protein Greens seems to be great. For one thing, its made from Pea Protein Isolate and has 21 grams of Protein. Its just hard for me to get down because its thicker and the taste is way more intense. Green Vibrance - This seems to have a more complete set of ingredients than the Paradise but there seems to be more of a Green Taste. i really wanted to like the Green Vibrance but the taste was too "greeny". Greens+ Original Superfood - No matter what I seemed to use for this product, it did not seem to mask or even remotely mask the taste. This one seemed to taste the "greenest". The set of ingredients seemed to compete very well with the Green Vibrance. I have been using the Paradise Product for about a week now. I feel like I have more energy and I feel better. The taste seems to be doing better as well. My wife had a hard time drinking this stuff in the beginning but seems to be adapting better. I use 1 part of Natural Apple Juice to 2 parts of water and 1 scoop of Paradise stuff. Then I use a Blender Bottle to shake it up and drink it. At first when I started to drink it, I had to plug my nose and down the mixture. Now, I find that I can drink it slower. I expect some form of weird after taste now but its not as bad as the first day. One nice thing is that by taking this, it has killed off the junk food cravings big time. I notice that it has done the same for my wife. 10/19/13 - Update...Went to the doctor for my annual checkup. He had a machine that shows how effective your vitamins and supplements are and whether you are getting what is needed from them. Most Americans score in the red area meaning that they need to exercise more and eat more servings of fruits and vegetables. I was concerned that I would read in the Red as well being the last time I took the ORAC Energy was 12 hours before that and I had drank a lot of water. I was very surprised to see that I was in the blue indicating that what I was taking still remained in my system. Apparently, only about 1% of his patients scored in this area. The test is based on what was consumed in the last 30 days so, there is nothing that can trick the test. This test confirmed to me, that this product is not useless and it contains many valuable nutrients. Now I am sold more than ever on this product and would highly recommend it for anyone.

This tastes good in stronger juices like cherry or pomegranate. I capsule them up to take easily. I notice a huge difference in my joints.

By far the very best green powder. I have tried many different brands but none of them compare to orac energy greens. I will use this product for life. It's got everything. I used to buy several products to get most of what's in the orac energy greens. I have hiv and I was off meds for 8.5 months due to insurance complications. I asked my doctor when I came back for blood work if it was possible to still have an undetectable viral load and healthy t-cell count. He said pretty much no. I told him I was taking the greens everyday and beyond tangy tangerine 2.0 with selenium. He looked at me like I was an idiot. When I came back in for good over my blood work the doctor looked at me and laughed and said "What ever you're doing, get doing it because it's working." I'm not claiming this is a cure for hiv. It's just the only change I made to my diet in that 9 months. Orac energy greens is full of herbs, veggies, and fruits which studies have shown improved the over all health of people with hiv. This stuff has a very mild flavor and mixes well with juice. I only buy it on amazon now because the price is around $20.00 cheaper than in the stores. Even at full price though, oraccording energy greens is worth every penny. Plus you save a lot of time and money not having to buy several products to get the full spectrum that orac has. Thanks for reading this. I hope everyone give paradise herbs a chance. This is a five star company and they have me as a customer for life.

I have used this product for a month now. I wanted to wait this long to give a review because sometimes supplements can take a while to produce effects. I will list the pros: *Immune system support *Better bowel movements *Easy and simple to take Cons: *None that I have found Being the peak of cold and flu season, I have been around several friends and family members (talking face to face, sharing items and meals together) who have been sick (normally just a cold). I have not gotten sick at all. I do not know for sure if I lucked out and didn't catch any of their germs or if paradise herbs have actually strengthened my immune system. I am leaning towards the paradise herbs to be honest. Not to mention I go to a school with over 50000 other students and faculty. So who knows about the other viruses and germs I have come into contact with unknowingly. My bowel movements have been better too. The product has prebiotics so I keep the bottle refrigerated at all times. I also take additional fiber supplements but I have noticed I am even more regular with paradise herbs. The serving size is 8 capsules. I normally take 2 or 3 capsules twice a day. I do this because it saves money and I am also not home for most of the day so I just have the morning and night to take them. I have never gotten an upset stomach with the supplement and the grassy/earthy taste goes away once you swallow them. I ended up googling all the ingredients and reading about possible side effects. Some ingredients act as anti-histamines and anxiolytics. My allergies have not changed at all and I haven't noticed much change in anxiety. I also have not noticed any boost in energy throughout the day. But I drink a lot of tea so I get a bit of caffeine throughout the day. I also have not noticed any change in weight. I would recommend this product to a friend.

I've become a huge fan of Paradise ORAC Energy Greens powder! After trying what feels like every greens supplement out there (you know the ones that taste like you're drinking lawn clippings), I was honestly surprised by how decent this one tastes. I mix a scoop into my morning tomato juice, and it works perfectly – definitely doesn't have that overwhelming "green" taste that makes you dread your morning routine. What's really impressed me is how I've noticed a difference in my immune system. I used to catch every bug going around, but since adding this to my daily routine, I've been staying surprisingly healthy. The blend of antioxidants and probiotics seems to be doing its job! The powder dissolves really well – no clumpy mess at the bottom of your glass like some other brands. I appreciate that it's packed with super antioxidants and probiotics for gut health, but without all the artificial junk some other brands throw in.

I can't rave enough about this stuff. I've gotten so many of my family members and friends to take it after seeing how incredibly it has improved my health. I have been taking it for two years now and have gone through 8 bottles and I DONT get sick AT ALL. Seriously. And this is incredible for me because my whole life I've gotten sick every year multiple times which keeps me in bed for a total of about 3 weeks per year. Also my general health, energy and mental clarity are far better than before taking this product. For those who live an unhealthy lifestyle and want to take this product, I must warn you. I have recommended this to many friends who drink multiple nights a week and eat generally unhealthy diets. When they take it for the first time, it makes them very nauseous and has sometimes caused vomiting. This is because ORAC working to detoxify their systems which are extremely toxic from years of being unhealthy, which their bodies arent used to. However, after the second or third time using ORAC the body adjusts to the detoxifying effect of this product and they, just like me, begin to feel amazing from it. If you are generally a healthy person you have nothing to worry about and will feel great right after taking it--all of the micronutrients and anti oxidants are like a kick of energy right to the brain that you feel immediately. I can't tell you how awesome this product is you just have to trust the other reviewers. I also believe in Paradise Herbs as a company. The two founders are both chinese herbalists and PHDs with 40 years of experience. All of the ingredients support local organic farming communities rather than industrialized farms. For example, the holy basil is grown in an isolated town in the himalayas. This is definitely one of the rare supplement companies built by experts with deep experience in their field and who aren't just out to take people's money on Amazon without knowing what is in their product. Go do research on Paradise Herbs--it's a fascinating and impressive story. Also if you're a university student, definitely get this. It has definitely improved my ability to focus and think clearly after long hours of studying. Thank you paradise herbs

I love how nutrient dense Paradise Greens is. This has a long list of ingredients that are highly supportive of health. I can put it in smoothies, a plant based milk, juice, or drink on its own in water. Had no problems blending it up using a handheld milk frother. The berry flavor is surprisingly delicious. I appreciate that there is no sugar, and that it's not overly sweet.

My favorite superfood
