This remarkable work - complete with pull-out map - brings to life the lands and locations of the Discworld stories in a way never seen before. Accompanied by lavish full-colour illustrations and a detailed world map, this is a must-have for any Discworld fan. What readers are saying... 'Brilliantly witty and highly informative of all areas of the Disc' - ***** Reader review 'Such a wonderful book' - ***** Reader review 'This is a must have for any Discworld fans' - ***** Reader review 'What an amazing book. Worth every penny' - ***** Reader review 'First class' - ***** Reader review *********************************************************************************** Unseen University is proud to present the most comprehensive map and guide to the Disc yet produced. In this noble endeavour - drawing upon the hard won knowledge of many great and, inevitably, late explorers - one may locate on a detailed plan of our world such fabled realms as the Condiment Isles , trace the course of the River Kneck as it deposits silt and border disputes in equal abundance on the lands either side, and contemplate the vast deserts of Klatch and Howondaland - a salutary lesson in the perils of allowing ones goats to graze unchecked. A gift like no other, this stunning package expertly conjures up the sights, sounds, people and places of Sir Terry Pratchett's incredible Discworld in ways fans have previously only been able to imagine. Review: Great quality informative book for Pratchett fans - Purchased this for my husband as a birthday gift as he is a big Terry Pratchet fan, and he was over the moon with it Review: Out of this world - Excellent

Captivating
Here I am - aged 50 - and possibly my favourite present (to myself) of the season is an atlas relating to a fictitious world. It's beautifully presented and runs through the continents with wit and captivating artwork.... There's also a big map tucked into the back pocket with demographic information - bliss. Now if only getting there was as easy as catching a train! I am a compleat Discworld nut so am virtually guaranteed to give anything from "The Emporium" 5 stars - oh and the paper's nice and shiny too.

Excellent price considering it's £25 in the book shop
Excellent price considering it's £25 in the book shop. Quite a staggering difference, I'm not sure it's worth £25 but then I'm sure avid pratchett fans would disagree (it's a gift for a friend) and this coming from someone who spent £80 on the Harry Potter page to screen hardback 😏

Immanquable !

A Wonderful Reference for Discworld Fans
Did you know the official currency of Ephebe is the derechmi? Or that the capital of Djelibeybi is New Djeli? Or that The Chalk's exports are sheep, wool, cheese, lamb, and sheep? The Compleat Discworld Atlas is a wonderful reference guide for any Discworld fan. It includes all kinds of facts, history, and trivia about locations all around the Discworld, and is just packed full of wonderful illustrations. There is even a handy gazetteer at the back, so you can easily find your favourite place. The two-sided, full-colour map included separately at the back of the book is worth the price itself. It is absolutely gorgeous. One side shows a map of the entire Discworld with major cities and features labelled. The other side is a fabulous illustration of the Discworld sitting on the back of the Great A'tuin, with two of the elephants just peeking out from underneath, and the pantheon of gods along the top. The Compleat Discworld Atlas is a great companion to The Compleat Ankh-Morpork: City Guide and Mrs Bradshaw's Handbook: To Travelling Upon the Ankh-Morpork & Sto Plains Hygienic Railway . It actually is the same form factor as The Compleat Ankh-Morpork. All three, along with the older maps, really help develop the lore surrounding the Discworld.
