Petlife Vetbed Original for Dog/ Cat, 40 x 30-inch, Grey

This is the best ever invention for dogs, most obviously as a mattress upon which to sleep but doubles as a blanket to lie on in the evenings, out of the bed / basket. Soft, warm and snuggly, your dog will likely head for his or her vet bed after a muddy, rainy walk but this is no problem as this clever, very long-lasting 'bed' absorbs dampness efficiently, pulling it through the soft grey upper to the green base layer so your dog is not irrotated by lying upon a damp mattress.The vet bed is very fluffy upon arrival but after one wash you will see its true texture - more 'straggly' though still as warm and snug. It will remain this texture and quality through subsequent washes. We wash ours every week and find 30 mins on the radiator dries it thoroughly. One of our vet beds has been with us the full year we have had our pup and is still in great condition despite having had wee, poo and sick on it during those early months.To summarise, this bed keeps your dog warm and dry through wet fur or 'accidents', it can be cut to size (so consider buying double the size if better value and making into two beds!) and can be washed at up to 90 degrees centigrade! Amazing!

I had to leave a review, I bought this for a guinea pig cage, have two males and they pee constantly, I had previously been using Carefresh but had to clean the whole cafe out every 2/3 days! It was supposed to be very absorbent but it was always soaking wet, even with puppy pads underneath! The Vet Bed is Amazing!!!! Two days later it's completely dry, removed the puppy pads underneath which absorbs the pee and they were soaking wet, took me 2 minutes to clean the cage, can now scoop up the poo instead of trying to pick it out of the Carefresh, two rolls cost me £30, one fits in the large rabbit cage which I use for the piggies, means I can swap when washing, can't recommend enough!!!

Washed it, washed it and washed it again! Still looks like the day we purchased it. Fits in the rear of the car and our 3 dogs love it. Mud, sand sick! It all washed out fine. Well worth the extra for a quality product. 6 months of use (washed regularly) and like new.

A happy accident in that I bought a vet bed too big for the crate- I cut it on half and so can rotate while the other one is drying after being washed! Result.

Perfect cosy bedding for my old dog who has bladder issues whilst sleeping. Catches leaks and keep a them away from her skin letting her and us have a restful sleep. Washes easily .

dog loves it, easy to wash

Great if you have a new puppy. Buy twice the size than you need and cut in half. Takes a 40degree synthetic wash and drys super quick. So good I ordered another one.
