Chrome Plated Brass Shower Head Holder

having purchased from this seller before, again I was very happy with this item. Some of the reviews of cheaper alternatives show that you are buying budget ie plastic. This is chrome plated solid brass and should last years. The bracket unscrews so that you can remove the screw cover at the back by also unscrewing, this keeps it all looking neat to add to the finish, take care removing the bracket from the main body as it has a domed washer inside, there is also a spring but this stayed where it was. The nice touch apart from the cover to conceal the screws to the wall was the inclusion of wall plugs and screws, if this is fitted correctly it should never come off the wall. On replacing the bracket, depending how tight you put the coller back on you can adjust the bracket so it is either very easy to move it's position or make it so it will hardly move. OK, it is only a shower bracket, for the money it puts others to shame in it's quality, I could not get one locally for any where near the same money. More than impressed (again). For some strange reason the heading "the plumbers merchant" is put as the seller, it is not, it was purchased from "the trade in post!"

I was a bit apprehensive about such a connector, we had something similar in our last place and the shower head would eventually droop during the shower requiring you to re-adjust and sometimes it would fall out of the holder entirely. But this one is fine. I've been using it for 6 months and not once have I had to adjust the shower...we just leave it in the holder constantly and it never changes position and it's never moved.It's really easy to fit, you simply put a couple of screws into the wall behind the chrome plate then you screw the plate on hiding its fixture.It's super shiny chrome, never seems to need cleaning although we wipe it whenever we clean the bathroom. Time will tell how long it will last obviously but I have no reason to think this wont last for years and years because it's nice and strong. The arm and ball joint look like good quality and feel strong too.

Not much to say except this is great for holding our hand held shower head after the plastic holder on our shower fitting eventually broke (as they all seem to do in the end).Obviously there is no vertical adjustment so make sure you are sure about where you fix it.Made of chrome plated brass, this should not rust or break so should last a lifetime.

Very pleased with this shower head holder. It is made of metal, very robust and allows the shower head to be adjusted through 90 degrees without the hose getting fouled on the wall. It replaces a couple of plastic holders, one was OK but broke the next one was too flat to the wall causing the hose to foul. Attaches to the wall using one screw and the tension on the balljoint is adjustable. Only 4 stars for durability because it has only been up a few days but the way it is constructed I cannot see it breaking.

I would not recommend this product. Took an age to come over a month waiting for it to complete my bathroom. When finally arrived from the far depths of China on the back of a tortoise, the shower head would not fit this support bracket. It looks good enough quality but I will not get the chance to find out because it does not fit my shower head. I would recommend going somewhere else for a similar product.

Excellent! Hold the Triton shower head fine, which is the heaviest of the shower heads I have ever come across.Some reviews say it doesn't go down enough, but once fitted if you move the holder upside down you can set it to as low as you want!Excellent quality as well.

I purchased this to replace the existing plastic holder which has broken after just a few months. This item is very heavy & solid and I anticipate it lasting a very long time. I like the fact that it is easily adjustable to change the position of the shower head. My one complaint would be that there was no instruction as to how to remove the back plate to affix the holder to the wall. I assumed that it must screw off but it was so tightly screwed on it took three people several attempts each to eventually unscrew it. A simple note in the box saying that it unscrews would suffice - this plus not screwing it on so tightly in the first place!!! Overall very pleased & would recommend to others wanting something which will last and not break as easily as the plastic holders.

I had been looking for a well designed, strong shower head holder for ages. Previously I tried cheap plastic......Then I tried a metal product from our local plumber's merchant but these had a plastic washer holding the ball joint in, or not holding it .....This is altogether a better design because the ball joint is held in the metal ring. Some have mentioned that the back plate does not unscrew easily but mine was not at all tight.Good to find something that looks like it will last well at such a good price.
