Drill Hog USA 5 Pc Left Handed Drill Bit Set Niobium Nb41

These left-handed drill bits are great! I used them in a close quarter drill to drill into some broken manifold studs on the V10 engine of my Ford Excursion, then I used an extractor to back out those studs. After those manifold studs were extracted, I ended up abusing the two smallest sizes of these drill bits with what I think was drilling into some hardened steel. I like these drill bits so much that I would have purchased those two damaged bits again, but the guys at Drill Hog sent me free replacements for them under their warranty. These are great bits, and Drill Hog honors its warranty.

These are sharp and do the job (make sure you get a centering guide and punch to insure your drilling center of your bolt)

The ones that were sharp in the set, worked very well. Unfortunately two of the bits I received were somewhat dull, and performed like any cheap drill bit. Somewhat frustrating when you pay good money and the quality control is just not up to par for the price. It’s not an issue that can’t be solved with a good sharpening, but I shouldn’t have to right out of the box.

Very good product…works as advertised

These drills are first class tools, well worth twice the price. I had to drill out a grade 80 stud from the head of an engine that is 80 years old and could not afford to make ANY mistakes. These drills did an excellent job and allowed me to re-thread the hole. I'd buy them again.

I've always liked Drill Hog and especially their warranty. The bits came with a good edge and the serial number worked for the product registration. There aren't many left handed bits on Amazon, but these are, in my opinion, the best.
