Purchased this and must say is a brilliant bit of kit, it cuts through most things, easy to set up and light weight. An absolute bargain

I was a little put off by others photo's showing a split casing, but decided to have a look because of the cost and convenience of a battery saw. There was no disappointment when I opened the box, only a week later when the price dropped by thirteen quid. And I nearly bought from Wickes who were selling it cheaper originally....Anyway, read the instructions and it was soon up and running. Note you will need to buy oil as there's none supplied. And also note that the chain is not bi-directional, it needs to go on to run in the correct direction. A quick check of the safety cut out and switches and it was running perfectly. Being electric, the chain stops almost instantaneously once you release the switch - very safe.Whilst running, it's very quite. The benefit of it being a battery, and not petrol, is that there's no noise while you're not cutting. I took it out to the local woods early one morning and cut up felled and abandoned trunks and branches, with no worry about disturbing anyone.The supplied Oregon chain is sharp and quiet. It takes seconds to cut through 6" inch diameter pieces - don't expect to cut down rainforests with it, but if need to cut thicker trees, you can always work on two sides of the trunk.Mine came with a 3.0Ah battery and fast charger. The battery itself has 3 led's that show how much charge is left, and it will fully charge in less than an hour. The first picture I've uploaded is the wood I cut, each length being over 2 foot. These were then further cut into smaller lengths for the fire. The second picture shows how many I managed to cut before the battery finally gave up - about half the original pile. I don't think that's bad at all, all on one charge.If I were a tree surgeon, this chainsaw wouldn't be enough. For felling trees and limbs 12" and under, for logging etc. this is very quiet and convenient.

this is a lightweight, easy to use little chainsaw which is ideal for use around the garden.it certainly isn't a heavy duty chainsaw and probably wouldn't stand up to prolonged heavy usage.I've used it with a 4.0ah battery for 30 mins or so and it was nowhere near draining the battery.I recommend this if you need a convenient and lightweight chainsaw for use trimming trees, cutting up logs, etc.

I used this for the first time today and found it works really well. It cut bigger and ticker branches than I thought it would and I made a job that would have took days take one instead. You can tighten the chain easily and is easy to handle, it charges really fast and has a powerful battery. It worked hard and the battery kept going. It does the job and works well within its capability. I did not find the body to be cheap plastic as some people have said I found it sturdy and strong, pleased with product and got it at a steal as one of Amazon's fulfilled by's.I have bought two different models/makes before this and sent both back as one wouldn't work at all or charge and the other the chain got slack and won't tighten again after one use I have not found any of those issues with this one. My only issue is I find the oil leaks out a bit when in use and a few times it stopped and I had to rest it due to it over heating I think or could be a slight fault with the model but after it has rested it starts again so that us the main thing.

The plastic casing makes it look a bit cheap and the battery life could be a bit better. I'm not sure how long it will last but I have been using it to fell small trees and cut up fallen branches and it has paid for itself four times over in fire wood and tree surgeons fees. Its hard to see how it could be any better for the price. LIght and comfortable to use. Excellent value-nice piece of kit.

I’ve used this chainsaw about 6 times in 2 years. The charger now won’t charge the battery. In true Amazon fashion I can’t get hold of the seller, so disappointing.We love the chainsaw. It’s easy to use and cuts well but I expect the charger to last longer than 2 years…

Bought a couple of these cheaper Chinese chainsaws and both got sent back ( absolutely rubbish) saw this and thought gotta be worth the money and what a piece of magic it is 👍 curs with ease , battery lasts a long time and a quality cutting chain . Treat yourself to one of these and you will be happy

Quality well made product - great performance for such a small machine. Light to use and handles well - ideal for first time chainsaw user around the garden. Should be noted : If registered with Einhell - you will receive an extra year warranty on top of the 2 years warranty you will normally receive - making it 3 years in total. Good piece of mind and demonstrates Einhell faith in their product.

Una motosierra con mucha calidad, dentro de la relación, calidad precio. Un corte muy eficaz y sorprendente. Oregon aporta una parte muy importante en esta motosierra. La tensión de la cadena muy práctica. El sistema actua muy bien para detener la máquina ante cualquier manipulación y al volverlo a su posición vuelve todo a funcionar. Muy manejable. Recomendable para un uso de poda de ramas.
