So far so good! Suction power could be better (with adding an extra filter to the metal mesh as I did, reduces the power) it arrived in good condition, works, light is powerful enough. Easy to install, not loud, I'm pleased with this noise level.

This extractor cooker hood is very well built and extremely easy to install. I was surprised to find that it was equipped with a moulded plug attached to 4 feet of flex. This is a class 2 piece of hardware that doesn't require earthing. The fan is very powerful even though it uses a max of just over 83 watts and the light is led and although not fabulously bright lights up the cooker well enough. For the price this extractor is very good value.👍

I fitted this on my own. I am in my 60's. Didn't find edge's to be sharp as mentioned in other reviews. The metal was not thin. I drilled a few extra holes as my cabinet was a few mm shorter than end screw holes. It's not quiet but I didn't find it overly noisy. Looks great. The light at front is not brightest in day light but works well at night when I only put a lamp on in kitchen. I purchased the extra filter to place over the metal filter doors. I have a large open plan kitchen dinner but needed to use the recycling of air due to position of my cooker. Keeps all the steam away from me when cooking. This item has a plug attached so no need to wire in. Im pleased with the item. Did still have food smell but as I am using recycling mode that's to be expected. 1 star removed for brightness of light.

As I've said in my title, it was the cheapest extractor that I could find and, as usual, you get what you pay for! The quality is passable although there are some VERY SHARP EDGES. The product has been shaped and put together with the blue protective cling film already in place so it makes it difficult to get it all off without leaving traces under screw heads and overlaps. Others have complained about being damaged in transit but mine was obviously damaged in manufacture BEFORE it was packaged as there is a slight crease and bump around a screw/joint area but it's not bad enough to return and to be honest I can't be bothered. The slot for one of the black sliding catches was out of shape and the catch wouldn't slide to allow the cover to drop down. Haven't had it long enough to know how well it works but the fan speeds and strengths seem pretty good. Overall ok but a bit shoddy! We'll see how we get on.

First of all you have to be realistic - this is not a state of the art top of the range hood. It's tinny, it's noisy, the filters are small and the drop down door is fairly flimsy. That said for anyone on a budget this is a great little buy. It can be fixed to the wall via the screws at the back, there are holes in the top which allow fixing to the underside of a bridging unit or sit it on panels attached to the units either side. It can be recirculated or vented. It has a front light, 3 fan settings and the drop down door can be removed but take care with the sharp edges. It also plugs straight into a wall socket but note that there is a kettle style connector halfway along the cable so you may have to drill holes into units. The slim design also gives it a good modern look. Bottom line is this will do the job at a fraction of the cost and do it quite well for the price.

Do not buy this unit as it is not fit for purpose. The fan is not positioned in the centre and subsequently will only pull in air if you are cooking on the right hand side of the hob, but the left hand side does absolutely nothing. I tested this by placing a bit of kitchen paper on the grill and it is held up on the right barely, but on the left hand side it is useless. I am currently dealing with Ciarra customer services, and the only positive thing to say is they are reasonably responsive. However they did try and give me 15 discount on a unit that is not even 50% working. See my video and make your own mind up, but buyer beware, it is cheap for a reason. Going for a refund now as not acceptable that Amazon sell these despite them now putting up a warning that it is frequently returned. After I purchased I note

Ik heb deze bestelling retour gestuurd omdat het ergens bij DHL is blijven hangen. Hetzelfde product gekocht bij een andere verkoper voor een lagere prijs. Omdat het product goed is, geef ik op Amazone 4 sterren! 1 minder omdat het veel te lang onderweg was door DHL. De afzuigkap is eenvoudig op te hangen en werkt heel effectief. Behoorlijk stil! Absoluut een aanrader!

War sehr gespannt, wie der Dunstabzug mit Gerüchen in Umluft fertig wird. Ich hatte bisher nur Abluft - Hauben, die leise und effizient die Gerüche in frische Luft umwandelten. Nun, die ciarra Dunstabzugshaube arbeitet nicht schlecht, ist auf der höchsten Stufe allerdings lauter als meine alte Abzugshaube. Aber man braucht nicht immer die höchste Stufe, bei mir reicht Stufe 2, Umluft, um gereinigte, geruchlose Luft zu bekommen. Als Filter habe ich allerdings den vorhandenen ausgewechselt und einen doppelten, etwas dickeren neuen genommen. Innen weiß, außen schwarz, ist der Kohlefilter gut in der Lage, die gefilterte Luft sauber und geruchfrei zu tauschen. Das Licht ist auch ausreichend für die gesamte Kochplatte. Also für den Preis erste Wahl. Würde ich gleich wieder kaufen.
