I was advised to start using Colgate Duraphat (prescription only) as well as this mouthwash. I haven't been using it long enough to say whether it reduces the risk of cavities.It has a gentle mint flavour with no overpowering chemical overtone. I have the Blue version which does contain alcohol. Checking the ingredients of my previous mouthwash I read Hydrogenated Castor Oil. Put that in my mouth? No way Josie. I’ve used this product for over ten years. I like the flavour and it has massively reduced the number of caries in my teeth only three small fillings since I started to use it, before it was nearly every time I went to the dentist.

Blue Fluotigard is virtually impossible to find in the shops, but tastes way better than the green, non-alcohol based mouthwash so the high price one pays on Amazon is, in the end, worth it.

This was recommended by my dentist along with an enamel protecting tooth paste to keep my teeth in good order. It tastes great and leaves my mouth refreshed.

Not always easy to get the blue (alcohol) version as the green (non-alcohol) one seems prevalent but tastes revolting. The six pack is competitively priced and is by far my favoured mouthwash.

Liked being able to buy this in multiples at a reasonable price and not having to carry them home from the shop 😊

Everything is fine with this mouth rinse and it appears to be protecting the enamel on the teeth and is best used on a regular basis.
