This is a review of "CALIGOLD Health Super Marine Collagen Liquid - Excellent for Hair, Skin, Nails and Joints in Liquid Form 500ml Bottle Brand: CALIGOLD" This is in a good quality, well-labelled plastic bottle, which is exactly as illustrated. My wife was keen to try collagen to see if it had any positive effects on her skin and hair. I ordered this and also collagen capsules (from a different seller) at the same time. The main benefit ascribed to liquid collagen (as opposed to capsules) is that it is absorbed more quickly. This is supposed to be strawberry/berry flavoured. However the overwhelming taste is a fishy one - perhaps not surprising given that it is marine collagen, but not what she was expecting. Not a huge issue, she just makes sure that she has a drink on orange juice on standby to wash the taste away. A little plastic measure is supplied which is stored on the bottle cap. Way too soon of course to comment on any perceived benefits. I've been taking thus liquid collagen for a few weeks now and I've noticed a difference in my hair and skin. It's easy to take and the liquid form is convenient. The only downside is the taste which is a bit weird but I just mix it with juice to mask it

A lovely tasting liquid that's very palatable. Just a capful a day is all I'm using and I've noticed it's really helping my skin texture and complexion. My hair is feeling less dry, and this is after 2 weeks use. No additional hair growth, just softer hair that's there (and I have plenty). Good quality, it's easy to just take a dose and is pretty good value for money.

So this arrived well packaged and sealed. The smell is actually fairly pleasant but the taste is less good. Each dose is 25ml and I have to say that the taste is a bit fishy. It is also very acidic though there is a fruity undertone. The dosing cap though is really too small to actually hold the full 25ml. I did though notice a small improvement in skin elasticity and for the money, it's ok.

This marine collagen liquid has a pleasant sweet berry flavour and is easy to take. However, the included dosing cup is inadequate for measuring the full 25ml dose, as it is only marked up to 20ml. To get the correct amount, you have to fill it to the brim, which led to a spill on one occasion, making a sticky mess. Despite this, I prefer liquid collagen over tablets or gummies, and this particular formula also contains other beneficial nutrients. I will continue using it but will be more cautious when measuring my dose.
