Urban GoCo Women Vintage V-Neck Velvet Stretchy Long Dress

Love this! Would've expected to pay twice or even more for such a dress!Size : M [ I'm 5"6 and usually a size 10. ]Colour : RedAbsolutely stunning colour of real red rather than some purple-ish tone I always dred when trying to purchase red clothing. It also has a glistening effect! It's slightly loose, enough that I could've gone down a size, but the fit looks and feels fine overall. The material is stretchy and giving, so at least I won't feel constricted after eating the Christmas Dinner I'm planning to wear this to!The heavy velvet material isn't really scratchy and doesn't feel cheap, while the other, inner side to the material is soft and comfortable on my skin. The sleeves reach down to my wrist and are nice and close to my arms, so look slender and elegant. The cleavage is just right for me and having the skirt begin at the end of my rib cage means anything I'm self-conscious about is either hidden or smoothed over. It drapes over my figure and I also have a bit of swish when I turn and move.I ordered it with next day delivery since it was a cheaper option and it came [ tracked ] on that day without any quibbles.I'm very happy with this purchase and hope this review helps.

I got this for Christmas in the wine colour and got lots of compliments. Very comfortable and the velvet was very good quality. I went with previous advice here in the reviews and got a large based on having a 34DD bust. This was great advice. You’ll need a large If you D cup and I’d say XL is bigger than a D cup. Fit perfect except a bit big on upper arm but not really noticeable. The v is high cut, so I pinned down to show more neckline. Ideal dress for a feast day or wedding guest because it’s not tight across the stomach!

The fit is good and comfortable. The red is a really luxurious and sophisticated colour. It will be perfect for my daughter's engagement party. Not too expensive, considering I don't party much!

This dress is lovely, the full skirt swirls and moves beautifully as you cross the dance floor dancing a waltz or foxtrot. It makes you feel like a million dollars and drew a lot of compliments from fellow dancers.The colour is rich, the fabric is good quality and the cut is elegant and flattering. I’m 5’6 and the medium is a perfect fit. I can’t praise this dress highly enough, absolutely delighted with it and great value.

The fabric is lovely, the fit true to size however it does not look like the picture. I would say the model was wearing a bigger size as the neckline is very high nothing like the picture and although the fabric is heavy it doesn’t look elegant maybe I should have sent it back but as a general wear around the house it’ll do. Definitely not a dress up and go out dress but will do for day to day. Very disappointed

The dress arrived two days early - bonus. The thin plastic packing was torn but luckily it had not damaged the dress. My first reaction on taking the dress from the packet and holding it up was ‘Wow’. It was as good as the pictures led one to believe. The material is lovely - smooth to the touch, slightly stretchy and soft on the skin. It seems to be well made. When I tried it on - about five minutes after opening the packet as I was very keen - I was so pleased that the fit was perfect. I followed the sizing guide the manufacturer supplied. I am normally 16/18 and I ordered XXL. I am tall -5ft11in - and the hem was just level with my ankles. Perfect.I can totally recommend this dress. It made me feel elegant and my partner agreed wholeheartedly. I now have to search for suitably elegant accessories and shoes!!!

I have purchased this in red wine colour and am delighted with the look and quality of the dress . Ordered a medium size, I am normally a 10/12 and it fits perfectly , as I am only 5’2” the dress is just above floor level with my shoes on but I quite like look so will not be having it shortened.
