I own several microphones, both XLR & USB and I must say my search for a versatile yet great sounding USB microphone ends here!! Rode has done a fantastic job with the build quality, sound quality, versatility, ease of use & just everything with this microphone, the previous NT USB was a bit bright for my preference & though this one seems to have a little overwhelming low-mid range (depending on your voice) it can still be managed with a 75 or 150 hz High Pass Filter via Rode Central, the best part? You can now save your settings to the microphone & no matter how many devices you use it on, the settings are preserved. This microphone can also be used with Rodecaster Pro or Duo making it just a powerhouse performer. Although this is on a little costlier side but I feel it is worth every penny! This microphone can be used for podcasting, voiceover, calls, youtube, gaming, and what not! Its an essential in every microphone enthusiast’s mic locker!

At last my search for a microphone that can be used with Android phones for smule recording is over.... wonderful mic with excellent sound quality...👌👌👌🙏🙏🙏⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Very nice product but you need to buy another mic stand, because it is not for singing, If you want to record like studio voice with playing guitar then you have to buy another mic stand for this mic

Good product,if you can set it's functions properly makes clear good sound.I have used Boya lavalier microphone and Ahuja microphone before it.This is far better. Can connect headphone as monitor. Can connect with android,only you have to download RODE central app and then connect the mic with type c to type c cable,which is included in packet. Mobile need to have type c connection. When you connect phone with this microphone a mild blue decent light will glow from microphone. If India can made this type of microphone indigenously the price will be far lesser.But there is none.

It seems like a defective or faulty piece. I would like to change this. Please connect me to the buyer

I was hesitant about it, read some recommendations and decided to buy it, and I am happy with my decision: it offers all the features of expensive devices but at a low cost, it is very light, the sound clarity is high, I can connect it directly to my phone or laptop, I learned to use it quickly and now I have a home studio .

Excellent quality microphone, though you might want to get an arm to attach it to, rather than the little tripod. The tripod is fine, but an arm is much more versatile. Picks up my voice beautifully and the included software does a decent job of filtering out extraneous sounds and keeping the volume consistent. And the plug is just a USB connection! None of that XLR nonsense.

So after starting my YouTube channel 5 months ago, one thing that really stood out was poor audio quality, I had previously used the Hyper X S Quadcast mic, which was not only problematic with OBS but also causing issues with low volume. I was becoming increasingly frustrated, so started looking at alternatives, the Rode was a well known brand that seemed a good option. I have been so blown away by the difference, the quality is exceptional not only the build quality but sound quality is absolutely superb, my advice you pay for what you get, yes this is more expensive than many other options but it is exponentially better in every way. It also benefits from needing no additional software and is plug and play, the inclusion of a pop filter is also great, as these are often an optional extra. Really pleased to recommend this amazing product, i’m now going to get the Rode arm to match.
